CVSS v3.1 |
| Multiple i-フィルター products contain an issue with incorrect default permissions. If this vulnerability is exploited, a local authenticated attacker may replace a service executable on the system where the product is running, potentially allowing arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges. |
| XWiki AdminTools integrates administrative tools for managing a running XWiki instance. Prior to version 1.1, users without admin rights have access to AdminTools.SpammedPages. View rights are not restricted only to admin users for AdminTools.SpammedPages. While no data is visible to non admin users, the page is still accessible. This issue has been patched in version 1.1. A workaround involves setting the view rights for the AdminTools space to be only available for the XWikiAdminGroup. |
| PAX Android based POS devices allow for escalation of privilege via improperly configured scripts.
An attacker must have shell access with system account privileges in order to exploit this vulnerability.
A patch addressing this issue was included in firmware version PayDroid_8.1.0_Sagittarius_V11.1.61_20240226. |
| An issue in the wssrvc.exe service of QuickHeal Antivirus Pro Version v24.0 and Quick Heal Total Security v24.0 allows authenticated attackers to escalate privileges. |
| An issue in Audimex EE versions 15.1.20 and earlier allowing a remote attacker to escalate privileges. Analyzing the offline client code, it was identified that it is possible for any user (with any privilege) of Audimex to dump the whole Audimex database. This gives visibility upon password hashes of any user, ongoing audit data and more. |
| An improper permissions vulnerability was reported in Lenovo Baiying Client that could allow a local authenticated user to execute code with elevated privileges. |
| Attackers with local access to the medical office computer can
escalate their Windows user privileges to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by
overwriting one of two Elefant service binaries with weak permissions. The default installation directory of Elefant is "C:\Elefant1" which is
writable for all users. In addition, the Elefant installer registers two
Firebird database services which are running as “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM”.
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbserver.exe
Path: C:\Elefant1\Firebird_2\bin\fbguard.exe
Both service binaries are user writable. This means that a local
attacker can rename one of the service binaries, replace the service
executable with a new executable, and then restart the system. Once the
system has rebooted, the new service binary is executed as "NT
AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". |
| A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain CodeReady Workspaces images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Endurance Gaming Mode software installers before version 1.3.937.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Chipset Software before version 10.1.20266.8668 or later. within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| Omnissa Horizon Client for macOS contains a Local privilege escalation (LPE) Vulnerability due to a flaw in the installation process. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow attackers with user privileges to escalate their privileges to root on the system where the Horizon Client for macOS is installed. |
| The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| In Public Knowledge Project (PKP) OJS, OMP, and OPS before 3.3.0.21 and 3.4.x before 3.4.0.8, an XXE attack by the Journal Editor Role can create a new role as super admin in the journal context, and insert a backdoor plugin, by uploading a crafted XML document as a User XML Plugin. |
| grub2 allowed attackers with access to the grub shell to access files on the encrypted disks. |
| An issue was discovered in Lush 2 through 2020-02-25. Due to the lack of Bluetooth traffic encryption, it is possible to hijack an ongoing Bluetooth connection between the Lush 2 and a mobile phone. This allows an attacker to gain full control over the device. |
| Incorrect default permissions vulnerability in Evoko Home, affecting version 2.4.2 to 2.7.4. A non-admin user could exploit weak file and folder permissions to escalate privileges, execute arbitrary code and maintain persistence on the compromised machine. It has been identified that full control permissions exist on the ‘Everyone’ group (i.e. any user who has local access to the operating system regardless of their privileges). |
| The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. The programs can be replaced by malicious programs by any local or remote attacker. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| guix-daemon in GNU Guix before 5ab3c4c allows privilege escalation because build outputs are accessible by local users before file metadata concerns (e.g., for setuid and setgid programs) are properly addressed. The vulnerability can be remediated within the product via certain pull, reconfigure, and restart actions. Both 5ab3c4c and 5582241 are needed to resolve the vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability in Jamf Pro's Jamf Remote Assist tool allows a local, non-privileged user to escalate their privileges to root on MacOS systems. |
| The configuration of Cursor on macOS, specifically the "RunAsNode" fuse enabled, allows a local attacker with unprivileged access to execute arbitrary code that inherits Cursor TCC (Transparency, Consent, and Control) permissions.
Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Accessing other resources beyond previously granted TCC permissions will prompt the user for approval in the name of Cursor, potentially disguising attacker's malicious intent.
This issue was detected in 15.4.1 version of Cursor. Project maintainers decided not to fix this issue, because a scenario including a local attacker falls outside their defined threat model. |
