CVSS v3.1 |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in 0x4m4 HexStrike AI up to d689933ff579d839c676c82b231f8e98326c5f04. The impacted element is the function FileOperationsManager of the file hexstrike_server.py of the component API Files Endpoint. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Missing Directory Confinement in Media Upload in SP Page Builder (Free and Pro) 4.0.0 - 6.9.0 - The folder request parameter replaced the generated date-based destination folder in its entirety and was then passed to Folder::create() and File::upload() without either of the directory boundary checks applied elsewhere in the same file. Files could be written into any directory beneath the web root, including administrator/, templates/, cli/ and the site root. Joomla's PATH input filter prevented traversal above the web root, and existing files were not overwritten. |
| GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.7 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2 that, under certain conditions, an unauthenticated user could have read arbitrary files from the GitLab server due to improper path confinement and missing authentication enforcement in the repository commits API. |
| knowns (npm package) versions <= 0.29.1 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the Document API. The HTTP handler in internal/server/routes/docs.go normalizes the user-supplied document path with cleanDocPath(), which strips leading/trailing slashes and the .md suffix but does not neutralize ../ traversal sequences, and internal/storage/doc_store.go then builds the target path with filepath.Join(ds.docsDir(), filepath.FromSlash(doc.Path)+".md") without verifying that the resolved path remains inside the documents directory. In the default deployment, where the Management API is unauthenticated and bound to all interfaces, a remote unauthenticated attacker can supply a traversal payload (for example {"path": "../../../../tmp/knowns_pwn_marker"} to POST /api/docs, or an encoded path to GET /api/docs/...) to read, create, overwrite, or delete arbitrary files with a .md extension anywhere on the host filesystem and to create arbitrary directories via os.MkdirAll. This can expose sensitive data stored in other projects' documentation, corrupt or destroy files, and provide an arbitrary-write primitive that may be chained toward code execution. The issue is fixed in version 0.30.0. |
| parsedmarc 9.0.6 before 11.0.1 writes forensic report sample files using an output path derived from the email subject. When the subject consists entirely of path traversal sequences, the filename sanitization function produces an empty string, and a fallback to the raw unsanitized subject causes the resulting file to be written outside the intended samples directory. An attacker who can cause a forensic failure report with a crafted Subject to be processed can write a dot-prefixed file with attacker-controlled content to an ancestor directory of the configured samples output path. Exploitation requires that file output for forensic report samples is enabled. |
| Affected versions of MISP’s interactive CLI shell do not reliably preserve the identity of the impersonated MISP user across audit logging.
The shell is designed to run actions as a supplied MISP user ID. However, the legacy SysLogLogable behavior stored that identity in behavior-instance state that could be overwritten when another model lazily attached the shared behavior. Consequently, subsequent CLI writes could lose the intended user attribution and be logged incorrectly. The commit also notes that CLI-originated records lacked a CLI marker, making them appear similar to ordinary web actions by that user.
Version affected: ≤2.5.45 |
| Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service Confidential Container Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability |
| Tanium addressed a path traversal vulnerability in Tanium Data Service. |
| Joomla Extension - joomshaper.com - Path Traversal in Gallery Image Management in SP Property < 4.1.4 - The gallery management controller tasks lacked directory confinement checks. |
| An
authenticated directory traversal vulnerability in file upload functionality has
been identified in Archer MR600 (v2, v3 & v5) and TL-MR6400 v8. Due to insufficient validation of user-supplied file
information, an authenticated remote attacker with access to the affected
upload functionality could upload a specially crafted file and cause it to be
written outside the intended directory.
Successful
exploitation could allow an authenticated remote attacker to write files to
unintended locations, potentially overwriting or modifying files
accessible to the affected service; arbitrary code execution has not
been demonstrated. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Studio Wombat Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects Advanced Product Fields Extended for WooCommerce: from n/a through 3.1.6. |
| An arbitrary file read vulnerability in Mistral Vibe, introduced in version 2.6.0, allows an attacker to bypass workspace restrictions using quoted absolute paths in allowlisted shell commands. Improper handling of quotation marks during path validation enables files outside the active workspace to be read without user approval. |
| An arbitrary file write vulnerability in Mistral Vibe, introduced in version 1.3.4, allows an attacker to create or overwrite files outside the active workspace without user approval. Shell redirection destinations are omitted from permission checks, enabling otherwise allowlisted commands to write to arbitrary paths accessible to the Vibe process. |
| An arbitrary code execution vulnerability in Mistral Vibe allows an attacker to bypass command permission checks using shell constructs it's parser cannot interpret. Unparsed portions are omitted from inspection, enabling embedded commands to execute on the user's system without approval. |
| Adobe Commerce is affected by an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability that could result in a Security feature bypass. An attacker with high privileges could leverage this vulnerability to access unauthorized files or directories outside the intended restrictions, causing a limited disruption to availability. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed. |

| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') in Visual Studio Code allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. |
| Subscriber Arbitrary File Download in Youzify <= 1.3.7 versions. |
| The AcyMailing – An Ultimate Newsletter Plugin and Marketing Automation Solution for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 11.0.4 via the `user[name]` Parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. Exploitation requires "Embed images" option in AcyMailing configuration being enabled. |
| The UsersWP plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Deletion in versions up to, and including, 1.2.70 via the upload_file_remove() AJAX handler. The plugin stores the value of an account 'file' form field taken directly from $_POST when no real $_FILES upload is provided (process_account() calls uwp_validate_fields() and array_merges the result with the empty output of UsersWP_Files::validate_uploads()). At storage time the value is only checked with validate_file(), which passes any string that does not contain a literal '../'. When the value is later processed by upload_file_remove(), it is again gated with validate_file() and then normalized through uwp_get_file_relative_url(); that helper performs a global str_replace() of the uploads base URL against the stored URL, allowing a crafted URL containing embedded '..<uploads-baseurl>' tokens to collapse into '../../' traversal sequences after the last validation. The transformed value is then appended to the uploads base directory and passed to wp_delete_file() without any canonical containment check. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the affected site's server (including wp-config. |
