CVSS v3.1 |
| A flaw has been found in deepset-ai farm up to 0.8.0. This impacts the function EmbeddingTokenizer.from_pretrained of the file farm/modeling/tokenization.py of the component Tokenizer Loader. Executing a manipulation of the argument vocab_filename can lead to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been published and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Termix-SSH Termix up to 2.9.2. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file /plugin-api/file-manager/transferToHost. The manipulation of the argument destPath leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The shortcut was removed in the standalone File Manager plugin v1.0.0 (transfer engine now always writes over SFTP) and in core v26.10.0. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| http4k before 6.62.0.0-ee contains a path traversal vulnerability in ThymeleafTemplates Caching and HotReload that allows unauthenticated attackers to read files outside baseTemplateDir by supplying ../ segments in ViewModel.template() values. Attackers can influence request-driven template selection so Thymeleaf's FileTemplateResolver resolves escaped paths without containment checks, disclosing any file readable by the server process. |
| A vulnerability has been found in PGYER codefever up to 0c35e60f006f9d558cc33a159baf110659351990. Affected is the function _detail of the file application/controllers/doc.php of the component URI Sanitizer. The manipulation of the argument uri_string leads to path traversal. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The identifier of the patch is e4433eee96883a222403854e8ac38b3146774a07. Applying a patch is the recommended action to fix this issue. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.9.2 and from 4.0.0 until 4.0.2, DefaultCatalogRulesEnforcer in @backstage/plugin-catalog-backend compares the raw location.target URL against catalog.rules, while URL readers canonicalize the same URL before fetching it. An authenticated user with catalog.location.create permission can use percent-encoded path segments to make an untrusted URL match a trusted location pattern even though the canonical URL resolves outside that scope. This admits entity content from an untrusted source as trusted, while further downstream consequences depend on deployment configuration. This issue is fixed in versions 3.9.2 and 4.0.2. |
| EasyImages2.0 through 2.8.6 contains an unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability in app/down.php, app/thumb.php and app/info.php that allows reading files outside the upload directory. Attackers can supply ../ sequences in the dw, history or img parameters to read files with allowed upload extensions from the server. |
| MLflow 3.17.1 and earlier contains a path traversal vulnerability in the FileStore tracking backend that allows unauthenticated attackers to control filesystem paths by submitting a crafted trace ID containing traversal sequences to the POST /api/3.0/mlflow/traces endpoint. Attackers can exploit FileStore.start_trace() to write trace_info.yaml, request_metadata, and tag files with attacker-controlled metadata outside the intended experiment trace directory, subject to the server process's filesystem permissions. FileStore is the default tracking backend before MLflow 3.7.0 and opt-in thereafter (the default changed to a SQLite database), so deployments in the earlier part of the affected range are vulnerable without special configuration while later ones are affected only when FileStore is explicitly selected. |
| A vulnerability has been found in deepset-ai farm up to 0.8.0. Affected is the function WordEmbedding_LM.load of the file farm/modeling/language_model.py of the component Model Package Loader. The manipulation of the argument embeddings_filename leads to path traversal. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| Network-AI before 5.15.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in InputSanitizer.sanitizePath() that allows attackers to escape the base directory using sibling-directory paths. Attackers can supply paths whose directory name shares a string prefix with the base, bypassing the unanchored startsWith check to read, list, or write files outside the sandbox. |
| When a post is published, Postiz treats a media path that is not a web address as a file on the server's disk, but it does not check that the file lies inside the upload directory. A registered user can store a crafted media path with a post, get it past the checks that normally restrict it, and have the publishing worker read an arbitrary file and send it as an attachment to a Discord server the user controls.
The same unconfined reads can be reached through two further routes. One tells the caller whether a file exists and can exhaust the backend's memory, the other delivers the file the same way as the main route. Self-registration is open by default, so the attacker needs no existing account. |
| Omission of security-relevant information for some Intel(R) Software Guard Extensions Data Center Attestation Primitives within Ring 0: Kernel may allow a denial of service. Authorized adversary with a privileged user combined with a high complexity attack may enable data alteration. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present with special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (none), integrity (low) and availability (low) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (high) and availability (low) impacts. |
| Incomplete validation of extracted archive entry paths in ast-cli's tar extraction logic on Linux and macOS (used when installing the Vorpal ASCA real-time engine and the SCA Resolver) would allow a malicious tar archive containing absolute or traversal path entries to write files outside the install directory. Windows builds were not affected, as the Windows extractor performs this path validation.
Exploitation required substituting the archive served at "download.checkmarx.com". An attacker able to compromise that server and replace the archive could write arbitrary, executable files to arbitrary filesystem paths via this path traversal.
Extraction now validates that each entry's destination path resolves within the working directory and rejects absolute paths. |
| tarfile.tar_filter could be bypassed using crafted link entries, including symlinks with empty or directory-like names, to redirect later archive members outside the intended extraction directory. This allowed a malicious tar archive to cause tarfile.extractall() with filter="tar" to write files outside the destination directory, subject to the permissions of the extracting process.
This is the tarfile.tar_filter counterpart of CVE-2026-7774, which covered tarfile.data_filter. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Crocoblock JetFormBuilder jetformbuilder allows Path Traversal. This issue affects JetFormBuilder: from n/a through 3.6.7.1. |
| The Bulk Media Register WordPress plugin before 2.01 does not properly validate a user-supplied path before moving a file on the server, allowing users with the Author role to move or rename arbitrary files, including outside the WordPress root, which can defeat directory-level access controls and disclose protected files. |
| The gettext family of functions in the GNU C Library version 2.0 and later accept LANGUAGE environment variable entries that contain '/' or that are equal to "..", unless the program is setuid or setgid (AT_SECURE). An attacker who can set LANGUAGE in the environment of a program that uses gettext can make it load a message catalog (.mo file) from an arbitrary location in the file system. A crafted .mo file can crash the program through out-of-range offsets, or supply translations whose format directives do not match the arguments passed by the program. That causes undefined behaviour in the printf family of functions and may allow arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the program. The safety of message catalogs relies on them being installed in trusted, read-only locations, and the directory traversal bypasses this.
The fix for CVE-2014-0475 rejects ".." path components in locale names passed to setlocale or taken from the LC_ALL, LC_* and LANG environment variables. gettext reads LANGUAGE directly and appends each colon-separated entry to the message catalog directory, so that fix did not cover LANGUAGE.
LANGUAGE is only used when the LC_MESSAGES locale is not "C", "C.<encoding>" or "POSIX", so the attacker must also be able to select another installed locale, for example through LANG or LC_ALL. Exploitation also requires that the attacker can place the crafted file in a location readable by the target program, and that the environment crosses a trust boundary without the program running as AT_SECURE. An example is an SSH server that accepts LANGUAGE and LANG from clients through the AcceptEnv directive and restricts an account to a forced command; the attacker may use this to escape the restriction. |
| Rembg is a tool to remove images background. Prior to 2.0.82, the public /api/remove endpoint passes attacker-controlled extras.sam_model through rembg/commands/s_command.py to rembg/sessions/sam.py, where it is interpolated into SAM filenames and GitHub download URLs passed to pooch.retrieve() without a pinned hash. An unauthenticated attacker can supply a sam_model value combining path traversal with URL fragment syntax to exploit the HTTP request discarding the fragment while the local POSIX path retains it. The first request primes the attacker-selected path tree, and an identical repeated request downloads malicious ONNX encoder and decoder files beside a readable target file. The graphs can load the target through ONNX external data and encode its bytes into the returned PNG mask, disclosing complete files accessible to the rembg process and allowing arbitrary ONNX computation. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.82. |
| A vulnerability was detected in SourceCodester Online Food Ordering System 1.0. This issue affects the function unlink of the file admin/delete.php. Performing a manipulation of the argument image_name results in path traversal. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit is now public and may be used. |
| LangGraph Python SDK is used to connect to running LangGraph API servers, manage assistants, threads and stream runs from Python applications. From langgraph-sdk 0.4.0 until 0.4.6, and from langgraph 1.2.3 until 1.2.14 when RemoteGraph v3 streaming uses an affected langgraph-sdk version, the synchronous and asynchronous v3 stream get_tree and _fetch_state helpers interpolate caller-controlled assistant_id and thread_id values into authenticated GET request paths without using _quote_path_param. Relative path segments can therefore be normalized into another readable path on the configured server while retaining authentication headers. This issue is fixed in langgraph-sdk 0.4.6 and langgraph 1.2.14. |
| The Automated Import Products to Cart WordPress plugin before 1.0.4 does not sanitize a user-supplied file path before using it to read and delete files, allowing users with minimal permissions, such as subscribers, to read arbitrary files (including ones containing the database credentials) and delete arbitrary files on the server. |
