CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
timekeeping: Check the return value of tk_get_aux_ts64 in __do_adjtimex()
If the auxiliary clock is disabled during tk_get_aux_ts64() but is enabled
before tks->clock_valid is checked, then uninitialized stackdata will be
used in the calculations and indirectly leaked to userspace.
The same race window also exists after this change and also for the core
timekeeper. But in these cases the only effect would be incorrect
adjustments and this is userspace's responsibility to avoid this. |
| In multiple functions of alloc.c, there is a possible unauthorized read/write access due to a race condition. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Copilot Chat (Microsoft Edge) allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in DNS Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| An authorization bypass vulnerability in LXD due to a timing flaw during configuration merging allows an authenticated attacker to bypass target project restrictions during cross-project instance copies. When copying an instance to a target project, LXD performs restriction checks before configuration merging is complete, creating a time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) condition. An attacker can exploit this flaw to copy instances with disallowed high-privilege configurations into restricted projects, bypassing security controls. |
| Path traversal in Plesk's Backup Manager causes arbitrary file write as root by an authenticated customer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fuse: publish io-uring queues with release semantics
fuse_uring_create_queue() initializes a fuse_ring_queue and then
publishes the pointer into ring->queues[qid] with WRITE_ONCE() under the
fch->lock. There are several readers that may concurrently be fetching
that pointer locklessly and then deferencing it.
WRITE_ONCE() doesn't ensure ordering of the queue's field
initialization before the ring->queues[qid] pointer assignment. The
queue must be published with smp_store_release() so the field
initialization is guaranteed to happen before.
Readers in paths where the read may happen concurrently with the store
need to use READ_ONCE() because any race involving a plain access is
undefined. |
| A Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition leading to insecure symlink following in Plesk causes local privilege escalation to root via arbitrary file/directory ownership takeover. |
| When guests are terminated, various pieces of cleanup need carrying out.
The cleaning up of PCI devices which were assigned to guests, and the
associated removal of tracking structures for IRQs used by the devices
occurs relatively early in the process. Unfortunately after that point
the guest about to be terminated could cause its device model (DM) to
re-establish such tracking structures, by having it bind one or more IRQs
anew. While some of those tracking structures would still be cleaned up
later on, at least one would not be. |
| PasswordPusher before 2.11.1 contains a time-of-check-to-time-of-use race condition in view limit enforcement that allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass expire_after_views limits. Attackers can send concurrent requests to the show endpoint to access one-time secrets multiple times before the view count is incremented and the push expires. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Bluetooth Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Program Compatibility Assistant Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Management Instrumentation allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Print Spooler Components allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Hello allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Absolute path traversal in Microsoft Windows Search Component allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in jofpin trape 2.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file core/user.py of the component Telemetry Endpoint. Such manipulation of the argument vId leads to race condition. The attack can be executed remotely. Attacks of this nature are highly complex. It is stated that the exploitability is difficult. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition in ZenHive mpp allows an unauthenticated remote client to redeem one confirmed on-chain payment for multiple paid-resource accesses.
The type="hash" credential path in MPP.Methods.Tempo.verify/2 guards against replay with a non-atomic check-then-mark sequence: check_hash_unused/2 reads the dedup store, an eth_getTransactionReceipt round trip verifies the payment on chain, and only then does mark_hash_used/2 write the mark. Concurrent requests carrying the same settled payment hash all pass the read before any of them writes, so each is issued a receipt. The store's atomic check_and_mark/2 primitive is available and used by the type="transaction" path, but the hash path calls plain get and put even when the configured store implements it. Exploitation requires a dedup store to be configured; the default nil store is stateless and documented as offering no replay protection at all.
This issue affects mpp: from 0.2.0 before 0.6.1. |
