CVE-2024-8418 2 Containers, Redhat 3 Aardvark-dns, Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-11-05 7.5 High
A flaw was found in Aardvark-dns, which is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack due to the serial processing of TCP DNS queries. An attacker can exploit this flaw by keeping a TCP connection open indefinitely, causing the server to become unresponsive and resulting in other DNS queries timing out. This issue prevents legitimate users from accessing DNS services, thereby disrupting normal operations and causing service downtime.
CVE-2024-8176 1 Redhat 11 Devworkspace, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-11-05 7.5 High
A stack overflow vulnerability exists in the libexpat library due to the way it handles recursive entity expansion in XML documents. When parsing an XML document with deeply nested entity references, libexpat can be forced to recurse indefinitely, exhausting the stack space and causing a crash. This issue could lead to denial of service (DoS) or, in some cases, exploitable memory corruption, depending on the environment and library usage.
CVE-2024-7409 1 Redhat 5 Advanced Virtualization, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-11-05 N/A
A flaw was found in the QEMU NBD Server. This vulnerability allows a denial of service (DoS) attack via improper synchronization during socket closure when a client keeps a socket open as the server is taken offline.
CVE-2025-32990 2 Gnu, Redhat 11 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 8 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A heap-buffer-overflow (off-by-one) flaw was found in the GnuTLS software in the template parsing logic within the certtool utility. When it reads certain settings from a template file, it allows an attacker to cause an out-of-bounds (OOB) NULL pointer write, resulting in memory corruption and a denial-of-service (DoS) that could potentially crash the system.
CVE-2025-32989 2 Gnu, Redhat 11 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 8 more 2026-11-05 5.3 Medium
A heap-buffer-overread vulnerability was found in GnuTLS in how it handles the Certificate Transparency (CT) Signed Certificate Timestamp (SCT) extension during X.509 certificate parsing. This flaw allows a malicious user to create a certificate containing a malformed SCT extension (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.11129.2.4.2) that contains sensitive data. This issue leads to the exposure of confidential information when GnuTLS verifies certificates from certain websites when the certificate (SCT) is not checked correctly.
CVE-2025-32988 2 Gnu, Redhat 11 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 8 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GnuTLS. A double-free vulnerability exists in GnuTLS due to incorrect ownership handling in the export logic of Subject Alternative Name (SAN) entries containing an otherName. If the type-id OID is invalid or malformed, GnuTLS will call asn1_delete_structure() on an ASN.1 node it does not own, leading to a double-free condition when the parent function or caller later attempts to free the same structure. This vulnerability can be triggered using only public GnuTLS APIs and may result in denial of service or memory corruption, depending on allocator behavior.
CVE-2025-3576 1 Redhat 9 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more 2026-11-05 5.9 Medium
A vulnerability in the MIT Kerberos implementation allows GSSAPI-protected messages using RC4-HMAC-MD5 to be spoofed due to weaknesses in the MD5 checksum design. If RC4 is preferred over stronger encryption types, an attacker could exploit MD5 collisions to forge message integrity codes. This may lead to unauthorized message tampering.
CVE-2025-14831 2 Red Hat, Redhat 19 Enterprise Linux, Ai Inference Server, Ceph Storage and 16 more 2026-11-05 5.3 Medium
A flaw was found in GnuTLS. This vulnerability allows a denial of service (DoS) by excessive CPU (Central Processing Unit) and memory consumption via specially crafted malicious certificates containing a large number of name constraints and subject alternative names (SANs).
CVE-2025-14512 2 Gnome, Redhat 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A flaw was found in glib. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overflow and denial-of-service (DoS) via an integer overflow in GLib's GIO (GLib Input/Output) escape_byte_string() function when processing malicious file or remote filesystem attribute values.
CVE-2025-14104 1 Redhat 8 Ceph Storage, Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-11-05 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in util-linux. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overread when processing 256-byte usernames, specifically within the `setpwnam()` function, affecting SUID (Set User ID) login-utils utilities writing to the password database.
CVE-2025-14087 2 Gnome, Redhat 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more 2026-11-05 5.6 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib (Gnome Lib). This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause heap corruption, leading to a denial of service or potential code execution via a buffer-underflow in the GVariant parser when processing maliciously crafted input strings.
CVE-2025-13601 2 Gnome, Redhat 41 Glib, Ceph Storage, Codeready Linux Builder and 38 more 2026-11-05 7.7 High
A heap-based buffer overflow problem was found in glib through an incorrect calculation of buffer size in the g_escape_uri_string() function. If the string to escape contains a very large number of unacceptable characters (which would need escaping), the calculation of the length of the escaped string could overflow, leading to a potential write off the end of the newly allocated string.
CVE-2025-12801 2 Linux-nfs, Redhat 8 Nfs-utils, Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-11-05 6.5 Medium
A vulnerability was recently discovered in the rpc.mountd daemon in the nfs-utils package for Linux, that allows a NFSv3 client to escalate the privileges assigned to it in the /etc/exports file at mount time. In particular, it allows the client to access any subdirectory or subtree of an exported directory, regardless of the set file permissions, and regardless of any 'root_squash' or 'all_squash' attributes that would normally be expected to apply to that client.
CVE-2025-12464 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.2 Medium
A stack-based buffer overflow was found in the QEMU e1000 network device. The code for padding short frames was dropped from individual network devices and moved to the net core code. The issue stems from the device's receive code still being able to process a short frame in loopback mode. This could lead to a buffer overrun in the e1000_receive_iov() function via the loopback code path. A malicious guest user could use this vulnerability to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2024-45779 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 6 Medium
An integer overflow flaw was found in the BFS file system driver in grub2. When reading a file with an indirect extent map, grub2 fails to validate the number of extent entries to be read. A crafted or corrupted BFS filesystem may cause an integer overflow during the file reading, leading to a heap of bounds read. As a consequence, sensitive data may be leaked, or grub2 will crash.
CVE-2024-45778 2 Gnu, Redhat 5 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more 2026-11-05 4.1 Medium
A stack overflow flaw was found when reading a BFS file system. A crafted BFS filesystem may lead to an uncontrolled loop, causing grub2 to crash.
CVE-2024-45777 2 Gnu, Redhat 4 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more 2026-11-05 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. The calculation of the translation buffer when reading a language .mo file in grub_gettext_getstr_from_position() may overflow, leading to a Out-of-bound write. This issue can be leveraged by an attacker to overwrite grub2's sensitive heap data, eventually leading to the circumvention of secure boot protections.
CVE-2024-45776 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.7 Medium
When reading the language .mo file in grub_mofile_open(), grub2 fails to verify an integer overflow when allocating its internal buffer. A crafted .mo file may lead the buffer size calculation to overflow, leading to out-of-bound reads and writes. This flaw allows an attacker to leak sensitive data or overwrite critical data, possibly circumventing secure boot protections.
CVE-2024-45774 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 6.7 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2. A specially crafted JPEG file can cause the JPEG parser of grub2 to incorrectly check the bounds of its internal buffers, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. The possibility of overwriting sensitive information to bypass secure boot protections is not discarded.
CVE-2024-45775 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Els 2026-11-05 5.2 Medium
A flaw was found in grub2 where the grub_extcmd_dispatcher() function calls grub_arg_list_alloc() to allocate memory for the grub's argument list. However, it fails to check in case the memory allocation fails. Once the allocation fails, a NULL point will be processed by the parse_option() function, leading grub to crash or, in some rare scenarios, corrupt the IVT data.
