CVSS v3.1 |
SSH.NET is a Secure Shell (SSH) library for .NET. Prior to 2026.0.0, ScpClient places caller-supplied remote paths into the command used to run scp on the server, and the default RemotePathTransformation.DoubleQuote transformation cannot safely quote every remote command interpreter. When an application passes an attacker-controlled path to a shell-based server, shell metacharacters not neutralized by the active IRemotePathTransformation can execute commands as the authenticated SSH user. Exploitation requires a shell-based server and a path crafted for that shell's parsing rules; non-shell servers and paths fully neutralized by the selected transformation are not affected. RemotePathTransformation.ShellQuote is available for POSIX shells, while SftpClient avoids a remote shell entirely. This issue is fixed in version 2026.0.0.
Nozomi Networks Labs identified a CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in the web management interface of Advantech EKI-1242IEIMS in firmware version V1.06.01 that allows a remote authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands as root via crafted request parameters.

@cyclonedx/cyclonedx-npm creates CycloneDX Software Bill of Materials from npm projects. Prior to version 6.0.0, the Windows fallback path in src/npmRunner.ts, used when npm_execpath does not provide the npm CLI path, can construct a shell command containing an untrusted value from the --workspace option. When an attacker can influence that option and the fallback npm execution path is reached, shell metacharacters in the workspace value can execute arbitrary operating-system commands with the privileges of the user running the CLI, allowing data access, file modification, or service disruption. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.0.
An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7, visionOS 27, watchOS 27. A sandboxed process may be able to circumvent sandbox restrictions.
IBM i Access Family 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.15 could allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands with normal user privileges on the system due to improper validation of user supplied input in a session file.
IBM i Access Family 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.15 IBM i Access Client Solutions could allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands with normal user privileges on the system due to improper validation of user supplied input in a malicious emulator macro RunProgram action.
IBM i Access Family 1.1.2.0 through 1.1.9.15 IBM i Access Client Solutions could allow an authenticated user to execute arbitrary commands with normal user privileges on the system due to improper validation of user supplied input in a STRPCCMD CL command.
BlueKitchen BTstack through 1.8.2 fails to validate the peer-reported endpoint count against table bounds in A2DP stream endpoint discovery. A bonded peer can send an AVDTP DISCOVER response with more endpoints than the fixed table holds, causing out-of-bounds writes that corrupt adjacent static objects and crash the process or sever event delivery.
A vulnerability has been found in O-RAN-SC SMO OAM 2025-06-10. Affected is an unknown function of the component VES Collector. Such manipulation of the argument additionalFields.padding leads to uncontrolled memory allocation. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through a bug report but has not responded yet.
| The VeloCloud Edge and Gateway exhibit an out-of-bounds write vulnerability when processing tunneled IP fragments between authenticated overlay neighbors. This vulnerability impacts the VeloCloud VCMP tunnel protocol only.
A successful exploit can cause the affected process to terminate and restart, leading to a temporary disruption of traffic. Hosts on the internet that are unauthenticated and unable to form an overlay peer relationship can not trigger the vulnerable logic. |
Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS Command Injection') issue exists in FF-RFI079I4 and FF-RFI078I4. A user who can log in to the product's M-Plane (NETCONF) may execute arbitrary OS commands.
In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability was found in that can progressively corrupt heap memory and under certain systems and compilation options could lead to remote code execution. The vulnerability starts when CNAME synthesis during an upstream response needs to enforce(rewrite) a max TTL value in the packet buffer. Coupled with a compression pointer that points to the overwritten value and invalidates the domain name, it leads to an error path that does not properly move the buffer position and allows for the heap buffer overflow. Since this is heavily reliant on heap memory layout, results are memory corruption that eventually leads to a crash and under specific systems and compilation options remote code execution.
GNU libextractor before 1.15 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the process_star_office function that sizes a variable-length stack array from attacker-controlled OLE2 stream data. Attackers can craft malicious StarOffice documents that allocate up to 4 MB on the stack, causing stack overflow and crashing any application extracting metadata from the document.
UEFI Firmware Parser parses BIOS, Intel ME, and UEFI firmware structures including volumes, file systems, and files. Prior to 1.14, MakeTable() in uefi_firmware/compression/Tiano/Decompress.c does not validate that bit-length values read from a crafted Tiano or EFI compressed firmware bitstream remain within the expected range from 0 through 16. The normal CompressedSection.process() to efi_compressor.TianoDecompress() to TianoDecompress() to ReadPTLen() to MakeTable() parsing path can consequently write beyond the stack-allocated Count[17] array and related decode tables. The resulting stack corruption deterministically crashes the parsing process and may permit code execution depending on build and runtime details. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.
UEFI Firmware Parser parses BIOS, Intel ME, and UEFI firmware structures including volumes, file systems, and files. Prior to 1.14, ReadCLen() in uefi_firmware/compression/Tiano/Decompress.c reads Number from GetBits(Sd, CBIT) with CBIT = 9 and can obtain 511 entries for the 510-element Sd->mCLen heap array because its loop does not enforce Index < NC. The CharC == 2 run-length path can additionally request up to 531 zero writes through Sd->mCLen[Index++] = 0. The normal CompressedSection.process() to efi_compressor.TianoDecompress() to TianoDecompress() to DecodeC() to ReadCLen() parsing path therefore permits crafted Tiano or EFI compressed firmware to corrupt heap memory, deterministically crash the parsing process, and potentially execute code depending on build and runtime details. This issue is fixed in version 1.14.
