| An attacker with local access the to medical office computer can
escalate his Windows user privileges to "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by
exploiting a command injection vulnerability in the Elefant Update
Service. The command injection can be exploited by communicating with
the Elefant Update Service which is running as "SYSTEM" via Windows
Named Pipes. The Elefant Software Updater (ESU) consists of two components. An ESU
service which runs as "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" and an ESU tray client
which communicates with the service to update or repair the installation
and is running with user permissions. The communication is implemented
using named pipes. A crafted message of type
"MessageType.SupportServiceInfos" can be sent to the local ESU service
to inject commands, which are then executed as "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM". |
| Starlette is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework/toolkit. Prior to version 0.40.0, Starlette treats `multipart/form-data` parts without a `filename` as text form fields and buffers those in byte strings with no size limit. This allows an attacker to upload arbitrary large form fields and cause Starlette to both slow down significantly due to excessive memory allocations and copy operations, and also consume more and more memory until the server starts swapping and grinds to a halt, or the OS terminates the server process with an OOM error. Uploading multiple such requests in parallel may be enough to render a service practically unusable, even if reasonable request size limits are enforced by a reverse proxy in front of Starlette. This Denial of service (DoS) vulnerability affects all applications built with Starlette (or FastAPI) accepting form requests. Verison 0.40.0 fixes this issue. |

BC-FJA bc-fips on All allows Excessive Allocation. This vulnerability is associated with program files https://github.com/bcgit/bc-java/blob/main/core/src/main/java/org/bouncycastle/asn1/ASN1ObjectIdenti... https://github.com/bcgit/bc-java/blob/main/core/src/main/java/org/bouncycastle/asn1/ASN1ObjectIdentifier.Java .
This issue affects BC Java: from 1.0 through 1.77; BC-FJA: from 1.0.0 through 1.0.2.5, from 2.0.0 through 2.0.1. |
| In Matter (aka connectedhomeip or Project CHIP) through 1.4.0.0 before e3277eb, unlimited user label appends in a userlabel cluster can lead to a denial of service (resource exhaustion). |
| Filetto 1.0 FTP server contains a denial of service vulnerability in the FEAT command processing that allows attackers to crash the service. Attackers can send an oversized FEAT command with 11,008 bytes of repeated characters to trigger a buffer overflow and terminate the FTP service. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Legrand SMS PowerView 1.x and classified as critical. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality. The manipulation of the argument redirect leads to os command injection. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Ethernet Frame Decoder of the Snort detection engine that could allow an unauthenticated, adjacent attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition.
The vulnerability is due to improper handling of error conditions when processing Ethernet frames. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malicious Ethernet frames through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust disk space on the affected device, which could result in administrators being unable to log in to the device or the device being unable to boot up correctly.Note: Manual intervention is required to recover from this situation. Customers are advised to contact the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) to help recover a device in this condition.Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical was found in H3C Magic NX15, Magic NX30 Pro, Magic NX400 and Magic R3010 up to V100R014. Affected by this vulnerability is the function FCGI_WizardProtoProcess of the file /api/wizard/getCapability of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. The manipulation leads to command injection. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in H3C Magic NX15, Magic NX30 Pro, Magic NX400, Magic R3010 and Magic BE18000 up to V100R014. Affected is the function FCGI_CheckStringIfContainsSemicolon of the file /api/wizard/getBasicInfo of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. The manipulation leads to command injection. The attack can only be done within the local network. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| YoutubeDLSharp is a wrapper for the command-line video downloaders youtube-dl and yt-dlp. In versions starting from 1.0.0-beta4 and prior to 1.1.2, an unsafe conversion of arguments allows the injection of a malicious commands when starting `yt-dlp` from a commands prompt running on Windows OS with the `UseWindowsEncodingWorkaround` value defined to true (default behavior). If a user is using built-in methods from the YoutubeDL.cs file, the value is true by default and a user cannot disable it from these methods. This issue has been patched in version 1.1.2. |
| CUBA Platform is a high level framework for enterprise applications development. Prior to version 7.2.23, the local file storage implementation does not restrict the size of uploaded files. An attacker could exploit this by uploading excessively large files, potentially causing the server to run out of space and return HTTP 500 error, resulting in a denial of service. This issue has been patched in version 7.2.23. A workaround is provided on the Jmix documentation website. |
| ImageSharp is a 2D graphics library. In versions below 2.1.11 and 3.0.0 through 3.1.10, a specially crafted GIF file containing a malformed comment extension block (with a missing block terminator) can cause the ImageSharp GIF decoder to enter an infinite loop while attempting to skip the block. This leads to a denial of service. Applications processing untrusted GIF input should upgrade to a patched version. This issue is fixed in versions 2.1.11 and 3.1.11. |
| Improper resource management in firmware of some Solidigm DC Products may allow an attacker to potentially enable denial of service. |
| A prompt injection vulnerability in the chatbox of Netangular Technologies ChatNet AI Version v1.0 allows attackers to access and exfiltrate all previous and subsequent chat data between the user and the AI assistant via a crafted message. |
| Varnish Cache before 7.3.2 and 7.4.x before 7.4.3 (and before 6.0.13 LTS), and Varnish Enterprise 6 before 6.0.12r6, allows credits exhaustion for an HTTP/2 connection control flow window, aka a Broke Window Attack. |
| There's a vulnerability in the CRI-O application where when container is launched with securityContext.runAsUser specifying a non-existent user, CRI-O attempts to create the user, reading the container's entire /etc/passwd file into memory. If this file is excessively large, it can cause the a high memory consumption leading applications to be killed due to out-of-memory. As a result a denial-of-service can be achieved, possibly disrupting other pods and services running in the same host. |
| An issue was discovered in mcp-neo4j 0.3.0 allowing attackers to obtain sensitive information or execute arbitrary commands via the SSE service. NOTE: the Supplier's position is that authentication is not mandatory for MCP servers, and the mcp-neo4j MCP server is only intended for use in a local environment where authentication realistically would not be needed. Also, the Supplier provides middleware to help isolate the MCP server from external access (if needed). |
| The pairing API request handler in Microsoft HoloLens 1 (Windows Holographic) through 10.0.17763.3046 and HoloLens 2 (Windows Holographic) through 10.0.22621.1244 allows remote attackers to cause a Denial of Service (resource consumption and device unusability) by sending many requests through the Device Portal framework. |
