| Use after free in Windows DHCP Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows Modern Device Management (MDM) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Authentication Methods allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |

| MCPVault is a lightweight Model Context Protocol server for safe access to files in an Obsidian vault. Prior to 0.11.4, PathFilter in src/pathfilter.ts compiles restricted-directory patterns case-sensitively and compares paths without canonicalizing filesystem-equivalent segment names. On case-insensitive macOS and Windows filesystems, case variants of .git, .obsidian, or node_modules pass both isAllowed() and isAllowedForListing() even though the operating system opens the restricted directory, and Windows trailing dots or spaces provide the same bypass. An attacker who influences a path selected by an AI agent can use the bypass in read, write, move, search, or listing operations to expose or modify sensitive repository and Obsidian metadata. Vault-root .. containment is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.4. |
| A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's af_unix component can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation.
The unix_stream_sendpage() function tries to add data to the last skb in the peer's recv queue without locking the queue. Thus there is a race where unix_stream_sendpage() could access an skb locklessly that is being released by garbage collection, resulting in use-after-free.
We recommend upgrading past commit 790c2f9d15b594350ae9bca7b236f2b1859de02c (or backported equivalents). |
| An attacker may be able to cause a `named` resolver to abort. The attack requires inducing the victim resolver to send multiple queries for a DNSSEC-signed zone hosted by an authoritative server under the control of the attacker. If the auth responds with a particular sequence of crafted answers, and those answers arrive in a particular order with particular timing, the `named` resolver will encounter a use-after-free bug, and abort.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.27, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.27-S1. |
| Use after free in Windows Modern Execution Server allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Deployment Services allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Use after free in Windows Services for NFS ONCRPC XDR Driver allows an authorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| A double free issue has been identified in libarchive's RAR5 reader. During parsing of a specially crafted RAR5 archive, the filtered_buf pointer may remain stale after being freed during unpacking state reinitialization. Subsequent processing of another archive entry can trigger a second free of the same memory region, resulting in a double-free condition. Successful exploitation may cause applications using the vulnerable libarchive API to terminate unexpectedly, leading to a denial of service. |
| Concurrent execution using shared resource with improper synchronization ('race condition') in Windows Ancillary Function Driver for WinSock allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows VHD miniport driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to version 3.23.0, `rail_window_free` dereferences a freed `xfAppWindow` pointer during `HashTable_Free` cleanup because `xf_rail_window_common` calls `free(appWindow)` on title allocation failure without first removing the entry from the `railWindows` hash table, leaving a dangling pointer that is freed again on disconnect. Version 3.23.0 fixes the vulnerability. |
| An incomplete guard in OpenVPN 2.6.0 through 2.6.20 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.4 allows remote authenticated peers to trigger a use-after-free during TLS session promotion, potentially leading to a denial of service or memory leakage |
| Use after free in Windows Server allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Use after free in Windows Installer allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
