CVE-2026-86739 2 Grokability, Snipeitapp 2 Snipe-it, Snipe-it 2026-09-18 3.1 Low
Snipe-IT 8.6.3 and earlier do not check the return value of Storage::put() when writing the signature PNG and the generated acceptance PDF in Account\AcceptanceController::store(). On filesystem drivers that return false instead of throwing on a write failure (for example the local disk with restrictive permissions, S3 with expired credentials, or a storage backend that is out of quota), execution continues into $acceptance->accept(), which sets accepted_at and the signature_filename/eula_filename fields, creates the 'accepted' action-log entry, and dispatches completion notifications even though the evidence files were never stored. The result is an acceptance record marked complete whose supporting evidence files do not exist, yielding a materially incomplete compliance artifact for EULA acknowledgement or equipment-receipt workflows. The condition is triggered when an authenticated user completes an acceptance while the storage backend is silently failing writes; an attacker cannot directly force the storage backend into that state. Fixed in Snipe-IT 8.7.0.
CVE-2026-89794 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-18 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: zero pipe read compound padding Compound response handling extends the last response iov to an eight-byte boundary. smb2_read_pipe() allocates only the payload size, so the alignment padding can expose up to seven bytes of uninitialized kernel heap memory. Allocate the aligned size and clear the unused tail before pinning the response buffer.
CVE-2026-82783 1 Contec 3 Programmable Remote I/o Coupler Unit (software Plc Type) Cpsn-pcb271-s1-041, Remote I/o Coupler Unit (ethernet/ip Adapter) Cpsn-eob471ei-[]1, Remote I/o Coupler Unit (server Type) Cpsn-mcb271-* 2026-09-17 4.2 Medium
Plaintext storage of a password issue exists in CONPROSYS nano Series . If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker with physical access to the product may obtain credentials.
CVE-2026-46488 1 Motioneye Project 1 Motioneye 2026-09-17 N/A
motionEye (mEye) is an online interface for a piece of software called "motion," which is a video surveillance program with motion detection. Prior to 0.44.0, motionEye accepts the client-controlled meye_username and meye_password_hash cookies as authentication material without server-side session validation. An unauthenticated attacker who knows a target username and corresponding hash can set the cookies manually or cause them to be loaded by submitting blank credentials through the switch-user authentication flow, after which the server authenticates the attacker as that user. The administrator username and password-hash value are stored in /etc/motioneye/motion.conf, which is globally readable by default, allowing a local shell user to obtain reusable administrator credential material. Successful impersonation can enable account lockout, password changes and persistence, data enumeration, data destruction, and data exfiltration. This issue is fixed in version 0.44.0.

CVE-2026-19534 2 Nodejs, Undici 2 Undici, Undici 2026-09-16 7.5 High
undici's WebSocket client crashes the whole Node.js process during the opening handshake when a server responds with a subprotocol that the client never requested. A default WebSocket connection sends no subprotocol, but if the server's 101 response includes a Sec-WebSocket-Protocol header, undici dereferences a null value while checking it against the requested list and throws an uncaught TypeError. Because that code runs inside a microtask with no surrounding error handling, the exception propagates and terminates the process under Node's default behavior, instead of gracefully failing the connection as required by the WebSocket protocol. Any application that opens a WebSocket to an attacker-controlled or compromised server, or over a plaintext connection subject to a machine-in-the-middle, can be crashed remotely without authentication in the default configuration. This affects undici versions from 6.7.0 up to 6.28.1, from 7.0.0 up to 7.29.1, and from 8.0.0 up to 8.10.2. Users should upgrade to undici 6.28.1, 7.29.1, or 8.10.2.
CVE-2026-80176 1 Dell 1 Secure Connect Gateway 2026-09-16 4.7 Medium
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains a Plaintext Storage of a Password vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information disclosure.
CVE-2026-77407 1 Rabbitmq 1 Amqp091-go 2026-09-16 5.5 Medium
RabbitMQ amqp091-go is a Go AMQP 0.9.1 client. Prior to 1.13.0, PlainAuth values defined in auth.go retain passwords as exported plaintext fields in Connection.Config.SASL after a successful PLAIN authentication handshake. The Connection.openComplete method in connection.go does not clear those values. Code with access to the Connection object, including reflective loggers, application performance monitoring agents, debugging utilities, and panic handlers, can traverse the configuration and expose the credentials to logs or state captures. The credential remains available for the lifetime of the connection instead of being cleared after authentication. This issue is fixed in version 1.13.0.
CVE-2026-55225 1 Strimzi 1 Kafka-operator 2026-09-16 8 High
Strimzi provides a way to run an Apache Kafka cluster on Kubernetes or OpenShift in various deployment configurations. In Strimzi 1.0.0 and earlier, an attacker who can create a Kafka custom resource can set Kafka.spec.entityOperator watchedNamespace to a target namespace, causing the Cluster Operator to create a Role with full Secret CRUD permissions there and bind it to the Entity Operator ServiceAccount in the attacker's namespace. The attacker can mint a token for that ServiceAccount and read or write Secrets in any target namespace where the Cluster Operator has been granted permissions, regardless of STRIMZI_NAMESPACE. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.1 and 1.1.0.
CVE-2026-90648 1 Webassembly 1 Wabt 2026-09-15 N/A
wasm2c in WebAssembly wabt through 1.0.41 allows sandbox escape in some situations that primarily involve 32-bit platforms, aka a "table flip" attack. It does not check the return value of calloc() in wasm_rt_allocate_funcref_table() (wasm2c/wasm-rt-impl-tableops.inc). When the funcref table allocation fails, table->data is left NULL while table->size keeps the guest-declared element count; thus, bounds checks still pass and table element accesses resolve to absolute memory addresses (i * sizeof(wasm_rt_funcref_t)). This gives arbitrary read and write of host process memory and - via table.get, table.set, and call_indirect - arbitrary code execution, defeating the isolation that wasm2c exists to provide (a full sandbox escape). wasm2c is used as an in-process sandboxing boundary by RLBox and WasmBoxC, including in Firefox, which compiles the Graphite, Hunspell, Ogg, Expat, and Woff2 libraries via wasm2c to contain untrusted font, media, and XML input. Therefore, sandboxing in these applications is potentially affected. Exploitation requires the funcref table allocation to fail, for example under an address-space limit (RLIMIT_AS), on 32-bit hosts, with vm.overcommit_memory=2, or under memory pressure. On 64-bit Linux with default overcommit the allocation succeeds and the defect is not triggered. The wasm2c memory allocator aborts on calloc failure in the same runtime; the table allocator lacks this abort behavior. This was introduced in commit ab9e0b55 (PR #813).
CVE-2026-75092 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Openstack, Rhel Eus 2026-09-15 7.3 High
A privilege escalation flaw was found in the scan_mysql actor of leapp-upgrade-el9toel10 (provided by leapp-repository). During RHEL 9 to RHEL 10 upgrades, the actor runs: mysqld --validate-config --log-error-verbosity=2 directly as root in the Leapp actor context, bypassing the packaged MySQL systemd unit that normally starts the daemon as User=mysql. A process compromised as the mysql OS identity can write a version-2 persisted configuration (mysqld-auto.cnf) and a malicious shared object into /var/lib/mysql (a directory owned by mysql). That persisted map can set plugin_dir to /var/lib/mysql and early_plugin_load (or related loader options such as plugin_load / plugin_load_add) so MySQL loads the attacker-controlled object during configuration validation. Plugin loading can reach dlopen() before MySQL’s runtime-user check and before plugin-symbol validation. When an administrator subsequently runs the documented Leapp preupgrade or upgrade workflow, attacker-controlled code can execute as UID 0 with a full capability set in an unconfined SELinux domain (unconfined_t). The attack does not require write access to the default system plugin path under /usr; redirecting plugin_dir via mysql-owned persisted state is sufficient. Ordinary SQL privileges alone (including highly privileged SQL accounts) are not a sufficient startpoint — OS-level execution as the mysql service identity is required, plus later administrator invocation of Leapp.
CVE-2026-89444 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: dell-wmi-sysman: Don't hex dump attribute security buffer set_attribute() populates the security area of the BIOS attribute request buffer with the current admin password via populate_security_buffer(), then dumps the whole request buffer with print_hex_dump_bytes(). This can expose the plaintext admin password in the kernel log. The same issue was fixed for the password attribute path by commit d1a196e0a6dc ("platform/x86: dell-wmi-sysman: Don't hex dump plaintext password data"). Remove the remaining dump from the BIOS attribute path.
CVE-2026-43344 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel/uncore: Fix die ID init and look up bugs In snbep_pci2phy_map_init(), in the nr_node_ids > 8 path, uncore_device_to_die() may return -1 when all CPUs associated with the UBOX device are offline. Remove the WARN_ON_ONCE(die_id == -1) check for two reasons: - The current code breaks out of the loop. This is incorrect because pci_get_device() does not guarantee iteration in domain or bus order, so additional UBOX devices may be skipped during the scan. - Returning -EINVAL is incorrect, since marking offline buses with die_id == -1 is expected and should not be treated as an error. Separately, when NUMA is disabled on a NUMA-capable platform, pcibus_to_node() returns NUMA_NO_NODE, causing uncore_device_to_die() to return -1 for all PCI devices. As a result, spr_update_device_location(), used on Intel SPR and EMR, ignores the corresponding PMON units and does not add them to the RB tree. Fix this by using uncore_pcibus_to_dieid(), which retrieves topology from the UBOX GIDNIDMAP register and works regardless of whether NUMA is enabled in Linux. This requires snbep_pci2phy_map_init() to be added in spr_uncore_pci_init(). Keep uncore_device_to_die() only for the nr_node_ids > 8 case, where NUMA is expected to be enabled.
CVE-2025-15679 1 Bull 2 Bullsequana Xh3406, Bullsequana Xh3515 2026-09-13 N/A
Under certain circumstances such as reset to factory default operation, the BMC root account is made active without a password on BullSequana XH3406 and XH3515.
CVE-2026-80238 1 Dell 3 Secure Connect Gateway, Secure Connect Gateway Appliance, Secure Connect Gateway Application 2026-09-11 9.3 Critical
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Protection mechanism bypass. This vulnerability is considered critical because a low-privileged operator with SSH access to the SCG host can gain root-level access to the host without requiring a password by leveraging the exposed Docker socket. Additionally, an attacker who compromises a service running within the orchestrator container can access the same socket and escape the container boundary to obtain host-level control. Dell recommends that customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
CVE-2026-89259 1 Gohugo 1 Hugo 2026-09-11 9.8 Critical
Hugo is a static site generator. From v0.161.0, Hugo executes Node tools under Node's permission model, but TailwindCSS — included in the default security.exec.allow list — requires a highly permissive configuration (--allow-addons, --allow-child-process, --allow-worker). As a result, the restrictions intended by the fix for GHSA-x597-9fr4-5857 could still be bypassed, allowing a Node tool invoked during a build to read and write files outside the project's working directory. Affected versions are those after v0.43; the issue was fixed in v0.165.0 by removing tailwindcss from the default security.exec.allow list. Users who do not use TailwindCSS, or who only build trusted sites, are not affected. As a workaround, users can define a restrictive security.exec.allow list in hugo.toml.
CVE-2026-69297 1 Microsoft 14 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows Server 2012 and 11 more 2026-09-10 6.5 Medium
Storing passwords in a recoverable format in Windows DHCP Server allows an authorized attacker to disclose information over a network.
CVE-2026-69464 1 Microsoft 2 Sharepoint Server, Sharepoint Server Subscription Edition 2026-09-10 8.8 High
Execution with unnecessary privileges in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges over a network.
CVE-2026-86141 1 Xmlsoft 1 Libxml2 2026-09-09 2.9 Low
xmlregexp in libxml2 before 2.15.4 has a NULL pointer dereference in xmlRegNewParserCtxt after a strdup failure, i.e., it does not calculate a string length after NULL checking.
CVE-2026-79942 1 Dell 1 Secure Connect Gateway 2026-09-09 3.4 Low
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Execution with Unnecessary Privileges vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access.
