CVSS v3.1 |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.19.0, a crafted PDF can provide unusually large alphabetical page-label values that cause pypdf/_page_labels.py to generate strings beyond a reasonable page-label length when an application retrieves document page labels, consuming excessive memory and potentially making the application unavailable. This issue is fixed in version 6.19.0. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Versions prior to 6.9.1 allow an attacker to craft a malicious PDF which leads to long runtimes and/or large memory usage. Exploitation requires accessing an array-based stream with many entries. This issue has been fixed in version 6.9.1. |

| Starman versions before 0.4019 for Perl allow a stalled request body to hold a worker indefinitely, as read_timeout covers only the headers.
Content-Length and chunked request bodies are read with blocking reads and no deadline. A client that sends complete headers and then stalls or trickles the body keeps the worker waiting until it disconnects.
A remote attacker can take every worker with a few such connections, five with the default worker count, so the server stops answering requests.
Version 0.4019 applies read_timeout to each wait for body data and adds a body_timeout limit, 300 seconds by default, on the total time to read a body. |
| The MongoDB C# Driver's BSON library contains an uncontrolled resource consumption weakness in its deserialization handling of one BSON value type. An application that deserializes untrusted content with the library retains data derived from that content for the lifetime of the process, with no limit on how much accumulates. An unauthenticated remote party who can cause such content to be deserialized can drive unbounded memory growth, exhausting the host application's available memory and denying service. There is no impact to confidentiality or integrity, and no MongoDB server component is affected. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
i2c: viai2c-wmt: Fix clock leak in wmt_i2c_probe()
In wmt_i2c_probe(), i2c->clk is acquired using of_clk_get(). If any
subsequent operation fails or when the module is unloaded, the clock
reference count is never decremented via clk_put(), leading to a
resource leak.
Switch to devm_clk_get() so that the clock is automatically managed
and released. |
| A flaw was found in EAP's undertow http/1.1 chunked-transfer decoder. missing limits on size and count would allow an attacker to use an unauthenticated connection to drive the JVM to an OutOfMemory error, stopping all deployments on the listener, and achieving Denial of Service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: fix capability check in xfs
An user reported a bug where he managed to evade group's quota
by changing a file's gid to a different group id the same user
belonged to, even though quotas were enforced on both gids and the
file's size was big enough to exceed the quota's hardlimit.
Commit eba0549bc7d1 replaced a capable() call by a
has_capability_noaudit() to prevent unnecessary selinux audit messages.
Turns out that both calls have slightly different semantics even though
their documentation seems similar. Where in a nutshell:
capable() - Tests the task's effective credentials
has_ns_capability_noaudit() - Tests the task's real credentials
This most of the time has no practical difference but in some cases like
changing attrs (specifically group id in this case) through a NFS client
this will allow the quota code to use XFS_QMOPT_FORCE_RES, effectively
bypassing quota accounting checks.
Using instead ns_capable_noaudit() should fix this issue and prevent
selinux audit messages.
This also fix the remaining calls to has_capability_noaudit() |
| Tornado is a Python web framework and asynchronous networking library. Prior to 6.6, Tornado's HTTP header parser accepts obsolete line folding and repeatedly concatenates short continuation lines, causing quadratic CPU consumption on the IOLoop thread. An unauthenticated client can submit a header block containing many obsolete line-folding continuations before application code runs, blocking other connections served by the process. The cost grows with max_header_size, and only availability is affected. This issue is fixed in version 6.6. |
| A vulnerability was found in TOTOLINK A950RG 4.1.2cu.5268_B20221104. This impacts the function getDeviceInfo of the file /var/lib/misc/udhcpd.leases of the component device-information Handler. The manipulation of the argument MAC address results in command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. |
| A vulnerability was identified in Sunwood-ai-labs github-kanban-mcp-server up to 0.4.0. Impacted is the function handleListIssues of the file src/handlers/issue-handlers.ts. Such manipulation of the argument state/labels leads to os command injection. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 0.4.1 is recommended to address this issue. The name of the patch is 253d93bbdf7ee9fe42bd8fdf15feea93ae59cbae. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. |
| Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, when the `:preserve_comments` option is not enabled, which is the default, Crass discards CSS comments by recursively consuming the next token. An attacker-provided stylesheet containing a very large number of adjacent comments can cause excessive recursion and trigger a `SystemStackError`, denying service to the parsing application. Preserving comments avoids this recursive path. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. |
| Crass is a Ruby CSS parser that's fully compliant with the CSS Syntax Level 3 specification. Prior to 1.0.7, Crass converts `CSS scientific notation` number values with unbounded exponentiation before clamping the result to `Float::MAX`. Applications that use Crass to parse attacker-controlled CSS strings can be forced to spend disproportionate CPU and memory parsing a tiny input, potentially resulting in a crash. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.7. |
| Uncontrolled recursion in MessagePack\BufferUnpacker::unpack() in rybakit/msgpack versions prior to 0.11.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service through memory exhaustion when an application decodes deeply nested, attacker-controlled MessagePack input. |
| Command injection vulnerabilities exist in the affected interface of AOS-10 that could allow an unauthenticated adjacent attacker to perform command injection. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands as a privileged user on the underlying operating system. |
