CVSS v3.1 |
| When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, there's an implicit assumption that the height and width are divisible by 8.
If the height or width of the image is not divisible by 8, the copy loops at [0] and [1] will continue to write until the next multiple of 8.
The buffer td->uncompressed_data is allocated in decode_block based on the precise height and width of the image, so the "rounded-up" multiple of 8 in the copy loop can exceed the buffer bounds, and the write block starting at [2] can corrupt following heap memory.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| When decoding an OpenEXR file that uses DWAA or DWAB compression, there's an implicit assumption that all image channels have the same pixel type (and size), and that if there are four channels, the first four are "B", "G", "R" and "A". The channel parsing code can be found in decode_header. The buffer td->uncompressed_data is allocated in decode_block based on the xsize, ysize and computed current_channel_offset.
The function dwa_uncompress then assumes at [5] that if there are 4 channels, these are "B", "G", "R" and "A", and in the calculations at [6] and [7] that all channels are of the same type, which matches the type of the main color channels.
If we set the main color channels to a 4-byte type and add duplicate or unknown channels of the 2-byte EXR_HALF type, then the addition at [7] will increment the pointer by 4-bytes * xsize * nb_channels, which will exceed the allocated buffer.
We recommend upgrading to version 8.0 or beyond. |
| Finit provides fast init for Linux systems. Finit's urandom plugin has a heap buffer overwrite vulnerability at boot which leads to it overwriting other parts of the heap, possibly causing random instabilities and undefined behavior. The urandom plugin is enabled by default, so this bug affects everyone using Finit 4.2 or later that do not explicitly disable the plugin at build time. This bug is fixed in Finit 4.12. Those who cannot upgrade or backport the fix to urandom.c are strongly recommended to disable the plugin in the call to the `configure` script. |
| A post‑authentication command injection vulnerability in the Dynamic DNS (DDNS) configuration CLI command in Zyxel ATP series firmware versions from V5.35 through V5.41, USG FLEX series firmware versions from V5.35 through V5.41, USG FLEX 50(W) series firmware versions from V5.35 through V5.41, and USG20(W)-VPN series firmware versions from V5.35 through V5.41 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrator privileges to execute operating system (OS) commands on an affected device by supplying a specially crafted string as an argument to the CLI command. |
| Out-of-bounds write in UEFI firmware for some Intel(R) Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Roo Code is an AI-powered autonomous coding agent that lives in users' editors. In versions prior to 3.25.5, Roo-Code fails to properly handle process substitution and single ampersand characters in the command parsing logic for auto-execute commands. If a user has enabled auto-approved execution for a command such as ls, an attacker who can submit crafted prompts to the agent may inject arbitrary commands to be executed alongside the intended command. Exploitation requires attacker access to submit prompts and for the user to have enabled auto-approved command execution, which is disabled by default. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. The issue is fixed in version 3.25.5. |
| The Telenium Online Web Application is vulnerable due to a PHP endpoint accessible to unauthenticated network users that improperly handles user-supplied input. This vulnerability occurs due to the insecure termination of a regular expression check within the endpoint. Because the input is not correctly validated or sanitized, an unauthenticated attacker can inject arbitrary operating system commands through a crafted HTTP request, leading to remote code execution on the server in the context of the web application service account. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Oiwtech OIW-2431APGN-HP 2.5.3-B20131128 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /boafrm/formScript of the component Personal Script Submenu. The manipulation leads to os command injection. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Out-of-bounds vulnerability in curve segmentation processing of Generic PCL6 V4 Printer Driver / Generic UFR II V4 Printer Driver / Generic LIPSLX V4 Printer Driver. |
| squid/cachemgr.cgi in Webmin before 2.600 does not properly quote arguments. This is relevant if Webmin's Squid module and its Cache Manager feature are available, and an untrusted party is able to authenticate to Webmin and has certain Cache Manager permissions (the "cms" security option). |
| ASUS routers supporting custom OpenVPN profiles are vulnerable to a code execution vulnerability. An authenticated and remote attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands by uploading a crafted OVPN profile. Known affected routers include ASUS ExpertWiFi, ASUS RT-AX55, ASUS RT-AX58U, ASUS RT-AC67U, ASUS RT-AC68R, ASUS RT-AC68U, ASUS RT-AX86, ASUS RT-AC86U, ASUS RT-AX88U, and ASUS RT-AX3000. |
| Fujitsu fbiosdrv.sys before 2.5.0.0 allows an attacker to potentially affect system confidentiality, integrity, and availability. |
| ThreatSonar Anti-Ransomware developed by TeamT5 has an OS Command Injection vulnerability, allowing remote attackers with product platform intermediate privileges to inject arbitrary OS commands and execute them on the server, thereby gaining administrative access to the remote host. |
| The device enables an unauthorized attacker to execute system commands with elevated privileges. This exploit is facilitated through the use of the 'getcommand' query within the application, allowing the attacker to gain root access. |
| All versions of the package check-branches are vulnerable to Command Injection check-branches is a command-line tool that is interacted with locally, or via CI, to confirm no conflicts exist in git branches.
However, the library follows these conventions which can be abused:
1. It trusts branch names as they are (plain text)
2. It spawns git commands by concatenating user input
Since a branch name is potentially a user input - as users can create branches remotely via pull requests, or simply due to privileged access to a repository - it can effectively be abused to run any command. |
| The drivers in the tool packages use RTL_QUERY_REGISTRY_DIRECT flag to read a registry value to which an untrusted user-mode application may be able to cause a buffer overflow. |
| An unauthenticated command injection vulnerability exists in WePresent WiPG-1000 firmware versions prior to 2.2.3.0, due to improper input handling in the undocumented /cgi-bin/rdfs.cgi endpoint. The Client parameter is not sanitized before being passed to a system call, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the web server user. |
| A Looker user with a Developer role could cause Looker to execute a malicious command, due to insecure processing of Teradata driver parameters.
Looker-hosted and Self-hosted were found to be vulnerable.
This issue has already been mitigated for Looker-hosted instances. No user action is required for these.
Self-hosted instances must be upgraded as soon as possible. This vulnerability has been patched in all supported versions of Self-hosted.
The versions below have all been updated to protect from this vulnerability. You can download these versions at the Looker download page https://download.looker.com/ :
* 24.12.108+
* 24.18.200+

| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability allows OS Command Injection as root
This issue affects Iocharger firmware for AC model chargers before version 24120701
Likelihood: Moderate – The <redacted> binary does not seem to be used by the web interface, so it might be more difficult to find. It seems to be largely the same binary as used by the Iocharger Pedestal charging station, however. The attacker will also need a (low privilege) account to gain access to the <redacted> binary, or convince a user with such access to execute a crafted HTTP request.
Impact: Critical – The attacker has full control over the charging station as the root user, and can arbitrarily add, modify and delete
files and services. |
| A vulnerability in the file creation process on the command line interface of AOS-8 Instant and AOS-10 AP could allow an authenticated remote attacker to perform remote code execution (RCE). Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the underlying operating system leading to potential system compromise. |
