CVSS v3.1 |
Python Social Auth is a social authentication/registration mechanism. Prior to version 5.0.0, the partial-pipeline resume mechanism accepted `partial_token` as a bearer credential without binding it to the browser session that created it. Applications using resumable partial pipeline steps could allow an attacker to start an authentication flow, obtain a valid partial token and verification data, and cause a victim's browser to resume that attacker-controlled flow. This could authenticate the victim's browser as the attacker's account. The issue affects applications using partial pipeline steps such as `mail_validation` or custom steps decorated with `@partial`. The issue has been fixed in version 5.0.0 by binding partial pipeline resumes to the originating browser session.
Python Social Auth is a social authentication/registration mechanism. Prior to version 5.0.0, the `vk-app` backend accepted VK application callback data without verifying the callback signature when the `auth_key` parameter was omitted. Applications using this backend could treat unsigned attacker-controlled data as a verified VK identity. An attacker could choose callback fields such as `viewer_id`, `access_token`, `api_id`, and `api_result`, potentially allowing authentication as an arbitrary VK user ID. The issue affects only applications using the `vk-app` backend. The issue has been fixed in version 5.0.0 by requiring `auth_key` to be present and valid before callback data is trusted.
In OpenStack Swift before 2.36.2 and 2.37.2, s3api middleware enters an infinite loop when processing a truncated aws-chunked PUT request body. The StreamingInput class repeatedly appends an empty buffer and re-reads, causing the proxy-server worker handling the request to become permanently unresponsive with increasing CPU and memory consumption. An authenticated attacker can systematically exhaust all proxy-server workers, resulting in denial of service. The defect was introduced in Swift 2.36.0.
Python Social Auth is a social authentication/registration mechanism. Prior to version 5.0.0, the LoginRadius backend did not validate OAuth state during the authentication flow. Applications using this backend were vulnerable to login CSRF. An attacker could cause a victim's browser session to complete authentication using an attacker-controlled LoginRadius token, making the victim authenticated as the attacker's LoginRadius identity. The issue affects only applications using the LoginRadius backend. The issue has been fixe in version 5.0.0 by enabling callback state validation for the LoginRadius backend.
NVIDIA DALI contains a vulnerability in a component where an attacker could cause a heap-based buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure.
NVIDIA DALI contains a vulnerability in a component where an attacker could cause an improper index validation. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure.
Python Social Auth is a social authentication/registration mechanism. Prior to version 5.0.0, the Vend OAuth2 backend used only the numeric Vend user_id as the social-auth UID. When multiple Vend shops authenticate through the same application, users from different shops with the same internal Vend user ID could collide in the social-auth association table. A user from one shop could then be authenticated as the local account previously associated with the same numeric user ID from another shop. The issue affects applications using the Vend OAuth2 backend with more than one Vend shop. Version 5.0.0 patches the issue.
A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption.
Azure Identity Library for .NET Information Disclosure Vulnerability
Numeric truncation error in Microsoft Office Word allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
| A remote code execution vulnerability exists when Microsoft Office improperly validates input before loading dynamic link library (DLL) files. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could take control of an affected system. An attacker could then install programs; view, change, or delete data; or create new accounts with full user rights. Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights.
To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker must first convince a user to open a specially crafted Office document.
The updates address the vulnerability by correcting how Office validates input before loading DLL files. |
Python Social Auth is a social authentication/registration mechanism. Prior to version 5.0.0, the SAML backend accepted SAML responses on the Assertion Consumer Service endpoint without verifying that they matched a previously issued `AuthnRequest`. Applications using SAML account association could allow an attacker with a valid account on a trusted IdP to link the attacker's SAML identity to a logged-in victim's local account. The attacker could then authenticate through SAML and gain access to the victim's account. The issue affects applications using the SAML backend together with authenticated account association. The issue has been fixed in version 5.0.0 by validating SAML responses against stored `AuthnRequest` IDs.
`@bsv/wallet-toolbox` provides BRC-100 wallet signing and storage components, while `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-client` and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-mobile` provide client-focused distributions for standard and mobile applications using wallet storage services. A vulnerability in these packages causes transactions created through a remote `StorageClient` to trust output locking scripts returned by the storage provider without verifying that they match the outputs requested by the caller. A malicious or compromised storage provider can substitute a recipient script or inject an additional output, causing the wallet to sign and broadcast a transaction that redirects funds while the application and user interface continue to display the intended recipient. Source and npm publication history indicate that stable versions `@bsv/wallet-toolbox` and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-client` from 1.1.47 through 2.3.3, and `@bsv/wallet-toolbox-mobile` from its initial 1.3.21 release through 2.3.3, are affected. All three packages are patched in version 2.4.0. Applications unable to upgrade should avoid remote `StorageClient` providers, use local storage, or independently verify every transaction output’s locking script and value against the original request before signing
OpenWA is a free, open source, self-hosted WhatsApp API gateway. Prior to 0.23.5, the GET /api/sessions/{sessionId}/groups/{groupId}/invite-code endpoint and the GroupGetInviteCode MCP tool have no OPERATOR role requirement, allowing a valid VIEWER key scoped to a session to retrieve an active group invite code. The invite code is a transferable WhatsApp bearer capability, so an external account can join a group administered by the session without an OpenWA credential, gain read and post access to the group, and retain membership after the VIEWER key is revoked. Affected deployments are those that issue VIEWER keys to parties who should not be able to add accounts to administered groups; OPERATOR and ADMIN access is intended. This issue is fixed in version 0.23.5.
A vulnerability was found in volotat Anagnorisis up to 0.3.1/0.4.0. Affected is an unknown function of the file app.py of the component Socket.IO Connect Interface. The manipulation results in missing authentication. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
OpenWA is a free, open source, self-hosted WhatsApp API gateway. Prior to 0.23.5, the /events WebSocket gateway delivers the session.qr event to a VIEWER API key that subscribes by event name or through either wildcard subscription form, even though GET /api/sessions/{sessionId}/qr requires the OPERATOR role. When an allowed session is waiting to be paired, the exposed QR lets the key holder link an external device to the WhatsApp account and then read and send messages outside OpenWA and its audit trail. Keys restricted through allowedSessions remain limited to those sessions, and deployments that issue only OPERATOR or ADMIN keys are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 0.23.5.
libde265 commit 4d45a6b contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the NAL parsing path. When de265_push_NAL() is called with a zero-length NAL unit, the resulting NAL_unit may retain a NULL backing buffer, which is subsequently passed as the destination argument to memcpy() in NAL_unit::set_data(). Although the copy length is zero, this violates the nonnull requirement of memcpy() and results in undefined behavior, causing process termination in UBSan-instrumented builds and denial of service.
In multiple locations, there is a possible memory safety issue due to integer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges required.
In multiple functions of ftsmooth.c, there is a possible memory safety issue due to improper casting. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
In stpropnci_process_std of stpropnci_std.cc, there is a possible memory safety issue due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
