CVSS v3.1 |
| Incorrect privilege assignment in Temporary Elevated Access Management (TEAM) for AWS IAM Identity Center solution before version 1.5.1 might allow an authenticated remote user with application-level access to read, approve, modify, or revoke arbitrary access requests, thereby obtaining unintended temporary elevated access to the AWS accounts accessed using the TEAM deployment.
This issue has been addressed in TEAM version 1.5.1 or later. We recommend upgrading to the latest version and ensuring any forked or derivative code is patched to incorporate the new fixes. |
| Incorrect privilege assignment vulnerability in Apache Syncope.
When the configured JWKS settings for internal JWT authentication are disclosed (at least protocol and key), an attacker can obtain admin privileges after completing a successful authentication and obtaining a valid low-privileges JWT.
This issue affects Apache Syncope: from 3.0.0-M0 through 3.0.16, from 4.0.0-M0 through 4.0.7, from 4.1.0-M0 through 4.1.2.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.0.8 / 4.1.3, which fix this issue. |

Affected is the function get_surge_subscription of the file services/subscription.py of the component Subscription Handler. Such manipulation of the argument key leads to improper access controls. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| A vulnerability was found in Xuxueli xxl-job up to 3.4.2. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the file xxl-job-admin/src/main/java/com/xxl/job/admin/business/controller/JobGroupController.java. The manipulation results in improper privilege management. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been made public and could be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nfsd: gate nfs2 setacl by argp->mask
The NFSACL v2 SETACL path shares the decoder convention used by its
v3 sibling: nfsaclsvc_decode_setaclargs() fills in argp->acl_access
only when NFS_ACL is set in the request mask and argp->acl_default
only when NFS_DFACL is set, leaving the other pointer NULL because
the argument buffer is zeroed up to pc_argzero before decode.
nfsacld_proc_setacl() then hands both pointers to set_posix_acl()
unconditionally. set_posix_acl(idmap, dentry, type, NULL) is the VFS
"remove this ACL type" operation, so an omitted arm is
indistinguishable from an explicit request to delete that ACL. A
SETACL carrying only NFS_ACL silently strips the directory's default
ACL; mask=0 strips both.
This is the same defect just fixed in nfsd3_proc_setacl(); apply the
same remedy. Gate each set_posix_acl() call on its mask bit and
initialize error to 0 so that a request with neither bit set leaves
the on-disk ACLs untouched and returns success. The out_drop_lock
path and the unconditional posix_acl_release() in
nfsaclsvc_release_setacl() already tolerate the skipped arms. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: fix FSCTL permission bypass by adding a permission check for FSCTL_SET_SPARSE
FSCTL_SET_SPARSE in fsctl_set_sparse() modifies the file's sparse
attribute and saves it through xattr without any permission checks.
This exposes two issues:
1) A client on a read-only share can change the sparse attribute
on files it opened, even though the share is read-only.
Other FSCTL write operations already check
test_tree_conn_flag(work->tcon, KSMBD_TREE_CONN_FLAG_WRITABLE),
but FSCTL_SET_SPARSE does not.
2) Even on writable shares, clients without FILE_WRITE_DATA or
FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES access should not modify the sparse
attribute. Similar handle-level checks exist in other functions
but are missing here.
Add both share-level writable check and per-handle access check.
Use goto out on error to avoid leaking file references. |

| Incorrect authorization in ServiceWorker in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| A privilege-escalation issue in the Portworx Operator when deployed on Red Hat OpenShift (OCP). Only under specific conditions during the initial provisioning of a Portworx storage cluster, a user holding only limited, namespace-scoped permissions could cause the operator to grant broader access than intended, potentially resulting in elevated privileges within the Kubernetes cluster. |

| A flaw was found in Data Science Pipelines (DSP). An attacker with namespace editor privileges can bypass security hardening by submitting a malicious Argo Workflow through the V1 API path. This allows the API server to create pods with elevated privileges, acting as a 'confused deputy' on behalf of the attacker. Successful exploitation grants the attacker node-root access, enabling arbitrary code execution and full control over the underlying node. |
