Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle One-to-One Fulfillment. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Oracle One-to-One Fulfillment accessible data and unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Oracle One-to-One Fulfillment. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.8 (Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:H). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvdimm: pmem: keep PREFLUSH before data writes
pmem_submit_bio() records a REQ_PREFLUSH error, but continues to copy the
bio data and can later overwrite the error with a successful REQ_FUA flush.
That lets data writes run after a failed preflush and can complete the bio
successfully despite the failed ordering barrier.
Run the REQ_PREFLUSH flush synchronously before touching the bio data and
complete the bio with the flush error if it fails. Keep asynchronous flush
chaining for REQ_FUA. At that point, data copy has completed and the parent
bio can wait for the chained flush bio. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iommu/tegra241-cmdqv: Fix VINTF0 leak on the init-failure path
tegra241_cmdqv_init_structures() allocates VINTF0 with kzalloc_obj(), inits
it, and preallocates its logical VCMDQs. Two of its error paths leak.
When tegra241_cmdqv_init_vintf() fails it returns before VINTF0 reaches the
cmdqv->vintfs[] array, so the devres unwind on probe failure cannot reach
it; free it directly there.
A later VCMDQ preallocation failure instead leaves VINTF0 published, and so
this time the unwind does reach tegra241_cmdqv_remove_vintf(), which then
frees it from vintf->hyp_own. But tegra241_vintf_hw_init() sets that flag
only afterward, from a HW read-back, so the still-uninited VINTF0 reads as
guest-owned and leaks, with mutex_destroy() and ida_destroy() run on fields
it never set up.
Decide ownership from vintf->idx instead, the index assigned when its id is
allocated: idx 0 is the kernel-owned VINTF0, while idx >= 1 marks a guest
VINTF. So the in-kernel free decision in tegra241_cmdqv_remove_vintf() and
tegra241_vintf_free_lvcmdq() now keys on idx too, and hyp_own stays a pure
HW-readback state. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: SOF: ipc4-pcm: Continue the pipeline trigger in case of IPC timeout
Ignore IPC errors for pipeline state change if the firmware state is
crashed or the IPC has timed out.
If the firmware has crashed the kernel still needs to go through the state
changes to reset its internal to be able to correctly work the next time
the DSP is booted up.
The case with IPC timeout is a bit more problematic, but it has been
rootcaused to be the result of system scheduling blockage and the firmware
did actually received and handled the message, but the reply handling got
blocked by issues outside of the SOF stack.
So far the best way to handle this is to continue with setting the state. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cgroup/cpuset: Return PERR_NOCPUS in remote_partition_enable() on subpartitions_cpus conflict
When a remote partition is created underneath an existing local partition
via a non-partition (PRS_MEMBER) intermediate cgroup, update_prstate() sees
parent->partition_root_state == PRS_MEMBER and calls
remote_partition_enable().
Commit 86888c7bd117 ("cgroup/cpuset: Add warnings to catch inconsistency
in exclusive CPUs") replaced the cpumask_intersects(tmp->new_cpus,
subpartitions_cpus) error check in remote_partition_enable() with
WARN_ON_ONCE(). As a result, remote_partition_enable() emits a warning
and proceeds to enable the remote partition on CPUs that are already
owned by the ancestor local partition in subpartitions_cpus.
This can be reproduced on Linux 7.3.0-rc3 with:
mkdir -p /tmp/cg1
mount -t cgroup2 none /tmp/cg1
echo "+cpuset" > /tmp/cg1/cgroup.subtree_control
mkdir /tmp/cg1/A
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/cpuset.cpus
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/cpuset.cpus.exclusive
echo root > /tmp/cg1/A/cpuset.cpus.partition
echo "+cpuset" > /tmp/cg1/A/cgroup.subtree_control
mkdir /tmp/cg1/A/B
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/B/cpuset.cpus
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/B/cpuset.cpus.exclusive
echo "+cpuset" > /tmp/cg1/A/B/cgroup.subtree_control
mkdir /tmp/cg1/A/B/D
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/B/D/cpuset.cpus
echo 1 > /tmp/cg1/A/B/D/cpuset.cpus.exclusive
echo root > /tmp/cg1/A/B/D/cpuset.cpus.partition
which triggers:
WARNING: kernel/cgroup/cpuset.c:1594 at remote_partition_enable+0x1c1/0x300
and leaves both /tmp/cg1/A and /tmp/cg1/A/B/D as active root partitions
claiming exclusive CPU 1.
Fix this by returning PERR_NOCPUS when tmp->new_cpus intersects
subpartitions_cpus in remote_partition_enable(), matching the error code
used by remote_cpus_update() for the same subpartitions_cpus conflict, and
add a regression test case to
tools/testing/selftests/cgroup/test_cpuset_prs.sh.
Tested in QEMU on Linux 7.3.0-rc3 using the reproducer above and
tools/testing/selftests/cgroup/test_cpuset_prs.sh. |
| CompressionUtils.inflate() decompressed attacker-controlled DEFLATE data with no output-size cap. A small (~KB) crafted payload could expand to gigabytes on the heap. Reachable via JWE decryption when zip=DEF (e.g. JoseSessionTokenProvider with RSA-OAEP key wrap) and via SAML redirect/POST binding token inflation — in both cases decompression happens before/independent of trust validation.
Fix: Added a configurable maximum inflated-size cap (default 10 MiB, org.apache.cxf.compression-max-inflated-size system property) to CompressionUtils.inflate(); aborts with DataFormatException once exceeded.
Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. |
| Apache CXF's FIQL query parser has a vulnerability in how it searches for operators in query expressions. The search pattern can get stuck trying many combinations when it encounters a long string without an operator, causing the parser to consume excessive CPU time. An attacker can send a crafted query to make the server use up CPU resources, potentially slowing down or stopping other requests. The fix was to limit FIQL expressions to 4 KiB by default, preventing attackers from sending extremely long inputs while still allowing normal queries.
Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.4 or 4.1.9 or 3.6.13, which fix this issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cpu: hotplug: Preserve per instance callback errors
cpuhp_invoke_callback() unwinds earlier callbacks for the same
hotplug state when one instance fails. The rollback path currently
reuses ret, so a successful rollback can hide the original error and
make the failed transition look successful.
Keep the rollback result separate from the original error. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vxlan: mdb: Fix source list corruption on a failed replace
When replacing the source list of an MDB remote entry, all existing
sources are first marked for deletion and vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_add()
is then called to add the new source list. Sources present in the new
list have their deletion mark cleared, and any sources left marked
afterwards are removed.
If vxlan_mdb_remote_srcs_add() fails partway through, its error path
deletes all entries on the remote's source list. That rollback is only
correct for its other caller, vxlan_mdb_remote_add(), where the remote
was just allocated and the list contains solely entries added during
the call. On the replace path the list also holds pre-existing sources,
so a failed replace tears them down together with their (S, G)
forwarding entries instead of leaving the entry unchanged.
This is reachable from an existing (*, G) remote. An EXCLUDE filter
that loses sources starts forwarding traffic that should be blocked,
while an INCLUDE filter that loses sources drops traffic that should be
forwarded.
Mark entries created during the current pass with a new
VXLAN_SGRP_F_NEW flag. On failure, delete only those entries and clear
the deletion mark on the pre-existing ones, so a failed replace leaves
the source list untouched. Retain the flag until the whole operation
succeeds and then clear it. Also stop vxlan_mdb_remote_src_add() from
deleting a pre-existing entry it only looked up when adding that
entry's forwarding entry fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Fix linked reg delta tracking when src_reg == dst_reg
Consider the case of rX += rX where src_reg and dst_reg are pointers to
the same bpf_reg_state in adjust_reg_min_max_vals(). The latter first
modifies the dst_reg in-place, and later in the delta tracking, the
subsequent is_reg_const(src_reg)/reg_const_value(src_reg) reads the
post-{add,sub} value instead of the original source.
This is problematic since it sets an incorrect delta, which sync_linked_regs()
then propagates to linked registers, thus creating a verifier-vs-runtime
mismatch. Fix it by just skipping this corner case. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: pcrypt - Fix handling of MAY_BACKLOG requests
MAY_BACKLOG requests can return EBUSY. Handle them by checking
for that value and filtering out EINPROGRESS notifications. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix incorrect return value after changing leaf in lookup_extent_data_ref()
After commit 1618aa3c2e01 ("btrfs: simplify return variables in
lookup_extent_data_ref()"), the err and ret variables were merged into
a single ret variable. However, when btrfs_next_leaf() returns 0
(success), ret is overwritten from -ENOENT to 0. If the first key in
the next leaf does not match (different objectid or type), the function
returns 0 instead of -ENOENT, making the caller believe the lookup
succeeded when it did not. This can lead to operations on the wrong
extent tree item, potentially causing extent tree corruption.
Fix this by returning -ENOENT directly when the key does not match,
instead of relying on the ret variable. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/vmwgfx: Return the correct value in vmw_translate_ptr functions
Before the referenced fixes these functions used a lookup function that
returned a pointer. This was changed to another lookup function that
returned an error code with the pointer becoming an out parameter.
The error path when the lookup failed was not changed to reflect this
change and the code continued to return the PTR_ERR of the now
uninitialized pointer. This could cause the vmw_translate_ptr functions
to return success when they actually failed causing further uninitialized
and OOB accesses. |

| Legacy Update is a tool for activating and installing updates on legacy Windows PCs. Legacy Update 1.12.0 through 1.13.1 contains an origin validation error in the IsPermitted method of its ActiveX control. After successfully reading the hosting document's hostname, a hostname that is not on the permitted list falls through without setting E_ACCESSDENIED, causing IsPermitted to return S_OK. An attacker who induces a user to visit a malicious webpage in Internet Explorer can invoke the control to enumerate update and system information, install updates without consent, display dialogs, or restart the computer when a reboot is pending. This issue was fixed in Legacy Update 1.13.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: s390: Fix _gaccess_shadow_fault()
In some circumstances, it is possible that the page of nested guest
memory that is being shadowed is not present at all in the parent guest
gmap. dat_entry_walk() will not find any leaf entry and return with
-ENOENT, which will erroneously be propagated all the way to userspace.
Fix by manually calling gmap_link() on the memory of the nested guest
that is being shadowed if the mapping was not already present. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: SDCA: Add better pm_runtime error handling in func probe
Add a common error path in probe that balances the runtime PM reference. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath12k: fix inconsistent arvif state in vdev_create error paths
ath12k_mac_vdev_create() has three error path issues that leave arvif
in an inconsistent state:
1. When ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() fails, the function returns directly
without clearing arvif->ar, which was already set before the WMI
call. Subsequent code checking arvif->ar to determine vdev readiness
will see a non-NULL value despite no vdev existing in firmware.
2. When ath12k_wmi_send_peer_delete_cmd() fails in err_peer_del, the
code jumped to err: skipping the DP peer cleanup and vdev rollback,
leaving num_created_vdevs, vdev maps and arvif list membership live.
3. When ath12k_wait_for_peer_delete_done() fails, the code jumped to
err_vdev_del: skipping the DP peer cleanup.
Fix by changing the ath12k_wmi_vdev_create() failure to goto err instead
of returning directly, routing both err_peer_del failure paths through
err_dp_peer_del: for proper DP peer and vdev rollback, and consolidating
the arvif state cleanup at err:.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: fib: Don't ignore error route in local/main tables.
When CONFIG_IP_MULTIPLE_TABLES is enabled but no rule is added,
fib_lookup() performs route lookup directly on two tables.
Since the first lookup does not properly bail out, the result
of an error route in the merged local/main table could be
overwritten by another route in the default table:
# unshare -n
# ip link set lo up
# ip route add 192.168.0.0/24 dev lo table 253
# ip route add unreachable 192.168.0.0/24
# ip route get 192.168.0.1
192.168.0.1 dev lo table default uid 0
cache <local>
Once a random rule is added, the error route is respected:
# ip rule add table 0
# ip rule del table 0
# ip route get 192.168.0.1
RTNETLINK answers: No route to host
Let's fix the inconsistent behaviour. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iommu/riscv: Serialize command queue publishing
Serialize command queue publishing so software producer state advances only
after a command is written and the hardware tail is updated. Wait for
hardware consumption outside the queue lock when the command queue is full
so other CPUs are not blocked behind a long poll. |
