| Apache Karaf's instance-management service (InstanceServiceImpl) builds the command line used to launch a child Karaf JVM by string concatenation, then executes it through /bin/sh (Unix) or cscript (Windows). The caller-supplied javaOpts value is spliced into that string unquoted. A javaOpts value containing shell metacharacters (;, |, `, $(...)) is interpreted by the shell instead of being passed to the JVM as an option, giving arbitrary OS command execution as the Karaf process user.
Reachable via the shell commands instance:create, instance:start, instance:restart, instance:change-opts, and the equivalent InstanceMBean JMX operations (createInstance, startInstance, changeJavaOpts, cloneInstance).
Mitigation * Set karaf.secured.command.compulsory.roles=admin in etc/system.properties to close the fail-open gap for all unconfigured command scopes.
* Restrict which principals can reach instance:* commands and InstancesMBean via etc/users.properties role assignments.
* Treat javaOpts passed to instance:create/instance:start/instance:change-opts/InstancesMBean as untrusted input only from fully-trusted operators. |

| ntopng is a web-based network traffic monitoring application. Prior to 6.7.260718, scripts/lua/rest/v2/get/system/configurations/list_available_backups.lua and scripts/lua/rest/v2/get/system/configurations/download_backup.lua allow any authenticated non-admin user to list and download system-configuration backups without an administrator check. The download path reaches backup_config.export_backup, and prefs_dump_utils.build_prefs_dump_table includes the ntopng.user.* Redis key space in the backup. A downloaded backup can therefore disclose password hashes for local users and, when configured, API tokens, TOTP secrets, and WebAuthn credential data, enabling account compromise through usable or recoverable credentials. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.260718. |
| An improper authorization vulnerability exists in the handling of sub-workflow tasks. An authenticated user who does not have permission to access a target project can reference and invoke a workflow belonging to that project through a sub-workflow task.
The system does not properly verify whether the user has permission to execute the referenced workflow or access its project. As a result, the user can bypass project-level authorization controls and cause workflows in unauthorized projects to be executed.
Successful exploitation may allow unauthorized execution of workflow tasks and access to the resources or data available to the target workflow.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue. |
| An authentication bypass vulnerability exists in the protection of Actuator endpoints. The application determines whether authentication is required by matching the incoming request path against protected Actuator paths. By sending a specially crafted request containing a percent-encoded path, a remote unauthenticated attacker can cause the security check to fail to recognize the request as targeting a protected endpoint.
As a result, the attacker may bypass authentication and access otherwise restricted Actuator endpoints. Successful exploitation may expose operational or configuration information and, depending on the enabled endpoints and application configuration, allow access to sensitive management functionality.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue. |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to version 17.0.9, authenticated users who are authorized to access the GraphQL api module interface of FreePBX are able to execute arbitrary shell commands. Authenticated access to the api module is required. The PBX API module's documentation generator accepts an authenticated host parameter and uses it to build a shell command. The code path validates the generated OAuth access token before execution, but it does not validate or escape host. Compromise results in authenticated arbitrary shell command execution as the FreePBX web/PBX service user (typically asterisk.). This issue has been patched in version 17.0.9. |
| Improper neutralization of regular-expression metacharacters in the LINQ query translation component of the MongoDB C# Driver can cause a caller-supplied character sequence to alter a regular-expression predicate generated by an affected application. An authenticated user who can influence such a value may cause the application to return records beyond those intended by the original filter. |
| A missing authorization vulnerability exists in the `query-dynamic-sub-workflows` API of Apache DolphinScheduler. The API does not properly verify whether the authenticated user has permission to access the workflows being queried.
An authenticated user who does not have permission to access a specific project can invoke the API with parameters referencing workflows belonging to that project and retrieve workflow information. This allows users to access workflow data outside their authorized project scope, resulting in unauthorized information disclosure.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: from 3.2.0 before 3.4.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue. |
| An improper authorization check in Apache DolphinScheduler allows an authenticated user to use the batch-copy and batch-move endpoints to operate on workflows in projects for which they lack the required permissions. This may allow the user to copy or move workflows from unauthorized projects.
This issue affects Apache DolphinScheduler: before 3.4.3.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.4.3, which fixes the issue. |
| InvenTree is an Open Source Inventory Management System. Prior to 1.4.0, POST /api/barcode/ accepts an attacker-synthesized internal JSON barcode containing a lowercase model label and integer primary key, while BarcodeView uses IsAuthenticatedOrReadScope and requires only authentication or a general read scope. The built-in barcode plugin selects the object with model.objects.get(pk=...), and InvenTreeBarcodeMixin.format_matched_response() returns the complete model serializer output as instance without checking the caller's per-model view role. A low-privilege user can enumerate primary keys for parts, stock, locations, supplier and manufacturer parts, orders, and builds to disclose commercially sensitive inventory, pricing, supplier, customer, and order data. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.0. |
| draw.io is a configurable diagramming and whiteboarding application. Prior to version 30.2.5, opening or importing a crafted .drawio file can execute attacker-controlled JavaScript in the draw.io origin when selected cells are processed by TextFormatPanel.addFont() in src/main/webapp/js/grapheditor/Format.js. An HTML sibling cell keeps the formatted-label path enabled while an editable=0 plain-text sibling is excluded from the merged selection style but remains in the iteration set. graph.cellRenderer.getLabelValue() returns that plain-text label without HTML encoding, and mxUtils.canConvertHtmlToSvg() parses it as HTML, bypassing the earlier CVE-2026-46642 remediation. Successful exploitation can expose diagram data, browser storage, non-HttpOnly cookies, and same-origin actions available to the victim. This issue is fixed in version 30.2.5. |
| FreePBX is an open source IP PBX. Prior to versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7, a critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability exists in the superfecta module due to unsafe inclusion of arbitrary PHP files, allowing authenticated attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code on the server with the privileges of the web server user. Authentication with a known username is required. The vulnerability is rooted in the options and save_options cases in the Superfecta module's AJAX handler. The code dynamically includes PHP files from the sources/ directory based on user-supplied input. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code when combined with arbitrary directory creation (e.g., via the backup module) and file uploads that reveal full paths (e.g., via the soundlang module). This issue has been patched in versions 16.0.40 and 17.0.7. |
