CVSS v3.1 |
Keycloak provides a feature called mTLS holder-of-key binding which ensures that a token can only be used by the client that originally requested it by binding it to their digital certificate. A flaw was discovered where the new Standard Token Exchange V2 feature does not check for this certificate. This allows an attacker with stolen client credentials to obtain a standard, unrestricted token that bypasses these security protections.
A flaw was found in the Fine-Grained Admin Permissions (FGAP v2) feature of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the system checks if a delegated administrator has permission to assign a specific role to a user. Because the check does not look inside composite roles to see what other permissions they contain, an administrator with limited rights can assign a role that secretly includes full administrative control. This allows the attacker to gain complete management access over the entire realm.
A flaw was found in the Conditional OTP authenticator of Keycloak, an identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the system evaluates specific HTTP headers to determine if a one-time password (OTP) should be skipped, but fails to verify if those headers came from a trusted source. This could allow an attacker who already has a user's password to bypass the second-factor authentication by providing a specially crafted header in their request.
A vulnerability has been identified in armeria versions 0.84.0 through 1.42.0, where any-origin CORS policies do not enforce configured path restrictions, allowing an attacker-controlled website visited by an authenticated victim to read sensitive responses from excluded paths when credentials are enabled and the victim's browser sends authentication credentials.
A vulnerability has been identified in armeria versions prior to 1.43.0, where inconsistent request path normalization can allow unauthenticated attackers to bypass path-based access controls and access protected resources.
A flaw was found in systemd. The systemd-machined service contains an Improper Access Control vulnerability due to insufficient validation of the class parameter in the RegisterMachine D-Bus (Desktop Bus) method. A local unprivileged user can exploit this by attempting to register a machine with a specific class value, which may leave behind a usable, attacker-controlled machine object. This allows the attacker to invoke methods on the privileged object, leading to the execution of arbitrary commands with root privileges on the host system.
On a multi-user system, a user with an active local login session could downgrade a system-wide Flatpak app to an older version by removing the app's remote ref via the unprivileged system-helper RemoveLocalRef method, causing the anti-downgrade check to fail to find a reference date. A malicious local user could use this to expose other users of the same system to an app version with unfixed vulnerabilities.
A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the LDAP access provider and `ldap_access_order` including `ppolicy` or `lockout`, a fail-open condition in the LDAP ppolicy access check can occur if a user lookup returns zero results. This can incorrectly return success and cache an allow decision, permitting continued authorization for a deleted or deprovisioned user. A remote attacker with prior valid account context could exploit this to maintain access to information and potentially make limited modifications to resources that should no longer be available.
Vulnerability in the Siebel Apps - Life Sciences product of Oracle Siebel CRM (component: eDetailing). Supported versions that are affected are 17.0-26.9. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via SQL to compromise Siebel Apps - Life Sciences. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Siebel Apps - Life Sciences. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Kubeflow Pipelines enables users to build and deploy portable, scalable machine learning workflows. Prior to 2.16.1, the multi-user API server treats the empty namespace used by shared or global pipelines as an authorization exception for modification and deletion operations. An authenticated user can modify or delete shared pipeline definitions and versions without the required Kubernetes RBAC permissions, compromising their integrity and availability. Read-only access to shared pipelines remains intentional, single-user deployments intentionally bypass multi-user checks, and execution of a modified pipeline is a conditional downstream consequence. The separate shared-pipeline multipart upload authorization path is outside this advisory and is not remediated by version 2.16.1. This issue is fixed in version 2.16.1.
Vulnerability in the Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process product of Oracle Supply Chain (component: Product Quality Management). The supported version that is affected is 6.2.4. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management for Process. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.0 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
OAuthLib is an implementation of the OAuth request-signing logic for Python 3.6+. From 3.3.0 until 4.0.1, OAuthLib's RFC 8628 device workflow does not require DeviceCodeGrant.validate_token_request to check that the device_code parameter is present and valid. A caller whose client request is accepted by the configured validator and who knows a valid client ID enabled for the device workflow can submit a missing or bogus device code to the token endpoint and obtain a bearer token without completing device authorization. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.1.
`openvt -u` is intended to identify the owner of the current VT and then execute `login` as that user from a privileged context. In the documented `kbrequest`/init usage, the ownership test in `authenticate_user()` relies on `stat("/proc/<pid>/fd/0")`. `stat()` on `/proc/<pid>/fd/0` follows the symlink to the underlying TTY device node. As a result, `buf.st_uid` reflects the owner of the TTY node rather than the owner of the process holding the file descriptor. If the TTY owner returns to `root` or the getty owner after logout while an unprivileged process still has `fd 0` attached to that TTY, the check can incorrectly treat that process as belonging to the privileged console owner. Once that check succeeds, the `-u` path executes a passwordless login as the selected user. In the documented `kbrequest`/init deployment using `openvt -us`, this can result in passwordless `login -f root` on the spawned VT. This report establishes that privilege escalation path for that documented deployment; it does not claim equivalent reachability for deployments that do not use `openvt -u` from a privileged `kbrequest`/init path.
Vulnerability in Oracle Trusted Answer Search (component: PLSQL package). The supported version that is affected is 26.1. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via Oracle Net to compromise Oracle Trusted Answer Search. While the vulnerability is in Oracle Trusted Answer Search, attacks may significantly impact additional products (scope change). Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Trusted Answer Search. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 9.9 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H).
Traefik from 3.7.0-ea.1 before 3.7.15 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Kubernetes Ingress NGINX provider that silently disables mTLS configured via the auth-tls-secret annotation. When another Ingress declares a path on the same host without matching auth-tls settings, Traefik falls back to default TLS options, letting unauthenticated attackers reach backends requiring client certificates.
SQLite before 3.54.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in lookupName() that invokes the authorizer only for the first joined table's USING column. Attackers able to submit SQL can query a shared USING column in a RIGHT or FULL JOIN to read columns denied via sqlite3_set_authorizer() SQLITE_READ restrictions.
Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, missing authorization checks exist for custom volume copying where an attacker knowing the name of a project that they don't have access to and the name of a custom volume in that project can copy the custom volume to a new project. This issue could allow an attacker to access secrets in custom volumes they are not authorized to access. Version 7.2.0 patches the issue.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, the sms_search branch of interface/main/messages/save.php requires an authenticated session but does not enforce patient or feature-level ACLs. A low-privilege user who cannot access patient data through the normal interface can search the MedEx SMS endpoint and receive patient identifiers, names, phone numbers, SMS permission status, and recent message information. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0.
OpenEMR is a free and open source electronic health records and medical practice management application. Prior to 8.3.0, the new_recall branch of interface/main/messages/save.php accepts a caller-supplied pid without enforcing patient-level or recall-workflow authorization. A low-privilege authenticated user who knows or enumerates a patient identifier can retrieve patient details, contact fields, HIPAA notification preferences, recent appointment information, and existing recall information. This issue is fixed in version 8.3.0.
An unauthenticated client can query the Security Domain hosts inventory via GET /ca/rest/securityDomain/hosts and receive a structured response enumerating internal PKI/CA hosts and roles (security domain topology and participating subsystems), without requiring a principal, client certificate, or session.
