CVE-2019-11068 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 23 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 20 more 2026-05-28 9.8 Critical
libxslt through 1.1.33 allows bypass of a protection mechanism because callers of xsltCheckRead and xsltCheckWrite permit access even upon receiving a -1 error code. xsltCheckRead can return -1 for a crafted URL that is not actually invalid and is subsequently loaded.
CVE-2017-5753 14 Arm, Canonical, Debian and 11 more 396 Cortex-a12, Cortex-a12 Firmware, Cortex-a15 and 393 more 2026-05-28 5.6 Medium
Systems with microprocessors utilizing speculative execution and branch prediction may allow unauthorized disclosure of information to an attacker with local user access via a side-channel analysis.
CVE-2015-2808 9 Canonical, Debian, Fujitsu and 6 more 102 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Sparc Enterprise M3000 and 99 more 2026-05-28 3.7 Low
The RC4 algorithm, as used in the TLS protocol and SSL protocol, does not properly combine state data with key data during the initialization phase, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct plaintext-recovery attacks against the initial bytes of a stream by sniffing network traffic that occasionally relies on keys affected by the Invariance Weakness, and then using a brute-force approach involving LSB values, aka the "Bar Mitzvah" issue.
CVE-2015-4000 13 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 10 more 31 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Safari and 28 more 2026-05-27 3.7 Low
The TLS protocol 1.2 and earlier, when a DHE_EXPORT ciphersuite is enabled on a server but not on a client, does not properly convey a DHE_EXPORT choice, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to conduct cipher-downgrade attacks by rewriting a ClientHello with DHE replaced by DHE_EXPORT and then rewriting a ServerHello with DHE_EXPORT replaced by DHE, aka the "Logjam" issue.
CVE-2009-3555 9 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 6 more 15 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 12 more 2026-05-27 9.8 Critical
The TLS protocol, and the SSL protocol 3.0 and possibly earlier, as used in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, mod_ssl in the Apache HTTP Server 2.2.14 and earlier, OpenSSL before 0.9.8l, GnuTLS 2.8.5 and earlier, Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) 3.12.4 and earlier, multiple Cisco products, and other products, does not properly associate renegotiation handshakes with an existing connection, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to insert data into HTTPS sessions, and possibly other types of sessions protected by TLS or SSL, by sending an unauthenticated request that is processed retroactively by a server in a post-renegotiation context, related to a "plaintext injection" attack, aka the "Project Mogul" issue.
CVE-2015-8325 4 Canonical, Debian, Openbsd and 1 more 6 Ubuntu Core, Ubuntu Linux, Ubuntu Touch and 3 more 2026-05-22 7.8 High
The do_setup_env function in session.c in sshd in OpenSSH through 7.2p2, when the UseLogin feature is enabled and PAM is configured to read .pam_environment files in user home directories, allows local users to gain privileges by triggering a crafted environment for the /bin/login program, as demonstrated by an LD_PRELOAD environment variable.
CVE-2013-2566 4 Canonical, Fujitsu, Mozilla and 1 more 24 Ubuntu Linux, M10-1, M10-1 Firmware and 21 more 2026-05-22 5.9 Medium
The RC4 algorithm, as used in the TLS protocol and SSL protocol, has many single-byte biases, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct plaintext-recovery attacks via statistical analysis of ciphertext in a large number of sessions that use the same plaintext.
CVE-2023-4911 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 51 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 48 more 2026-05-12 7.8 High
A buffer overflow was discovered in the GNU C Library's dynamic loader ld.so while processing the GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variable. This issue could allow a local attacker to use maliciously crafted GLIBC_TUNABLES environment variables when launching binaries with SUID permission to execute code with elevated privileges.
CVE-2018-25306 2 Canonical, Poppler-utils 2 Pdfunite, Pdfunite 2026-05-05 6.2 Medium
PDFunite 0.41.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows local attackers to crash the application by processing malformed PDF files during merge operations. Attackers can trigger a segmentation fault in the XRef::getEntry function within libpoppler by providing a specially crafted PDF file to the pdfunite utility.
CVE-2026-5412 1 Canonical 1 Juju 2026-04-30 9.9 Critical
In Juju versions prior to 2.9.57 and 3.6.21, an authorization issue exists in the Controller facade. An authenticated user can call the CloudSpec API method to extract the cloud credentials used to bootstrap the controller. This allows a low-privileged user to access sensitive credentials. This issue is resolved in Juju versions 2.9.57 and 3.6.21.
CVE-2018-17958 4 Canonical, Debian, Qemu and 1 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Qemu and 5 more 2026-04-28 7.5 High
Qemu has a Buffer Overflow in rtl8139_do_receive in hw/net/rtl8139.c because an incorrect integer data type is used.
CVE-2016-10708 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Cloud Backup and 10 more 2026-04-28 7.5 High
sshd in OpenSSH before 7.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via an out-of-sequence NEWKEYS message, as demonstrated by Honggfuzz, related to kex.c and packet.c.
CVE-2026-6970 1 Canonical 1 Authd 2026-04-28 N/A
authd prior to version 0.6.4 contains a logic error in primary group ID assignment that can lead to local privilege escalation. When a user's primary group ID (GID) differs from their UID, either because the account was created with authd prior to version 0.5.4 or because the primary group was manually changed via the `authctl group set-gid` command, and the user's identity provider record is updated, authd incorrectly resets the user's primary group ID to their UID upon next login. This causes newly created files and directories to be owned by the wrong group, causing denial of service issues, and potentially granting unintended access to other local users and allowing local privilege escalation.
CVE-2009-2408 6 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 3 more 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 8 more 2026-04-23 5.9 Medium
Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.12.3, Firefox before 3.0.13, Thunderbird before 2.0.0.23, and SeaMonkey before 1.1.18 do not properly handle a '\0' character in a domain name in the subject's Common Name (CN) field of an X.509 certificate, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof arbitrary SSL servers via a crafted certificate issued by a legitimate Certification Authority. NOTE: this was originally reported for Firefox before 3.5.
CVE-2008-5983 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Python and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Python and 1 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Untrusted search path vulnerability in the PySys_SetArgv API function in Python 2.6 and earlier, and possibly later versions, prepends an empty string to sys.path when the argv[0] argument does not contain a path separator, which might allow local users to execute arbitrary code via a Trojan horse Python file in the current working directory.
CVE-2006-4343 4 Canonical, Debian, Openssl and 1 more 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Openssl and 2 more 2026-04-23 N/A
The get_server_hello function in the SSLv2 client code in OpenSSL 0.9.7 before 0.9.7l, 0.9.8 before 0.9.8d, and earlier versions allows remote servers to cause a denial of service (client crash) via unknown vectors that trigger a null pointer dereference.
CVE-2006-6504 3 Canonical, Mozilla, Redhat 4 Ubuntu Linux, Firefox, Seamonkey and 1 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Mozilla Firefox 2.x before 2.0.0.1, 1.5.x before 1.5.0.9, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by appending an SVG comment DOM node to another type of document, which triggers memory corruption.
CVE-2006-6503 4 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla and 1 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 3 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Mozilla Firefox 2.x before 2.0.0.1, 1.5.x before 1.5.0.9, Thunderbird before 1.5.0.9, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to bypass cross-site scripting (XSS) protection by changing the src attribute of an IMG element to a javascript: URI.
CVE-2006-6500 3 Canonical, Debian, Mozilla 5 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Firefox and 2 more 2026-04-23 N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in Mozilla Firefox 2.x before 2.0.0.1, 1.5.x before 1.5.0.9, Thunderbird before 1.5.0.9, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code by setting the CSS cursor to certain images that cause an incorrect size calculation when converting to a Windows bitmap.
CVE-2008-0005 4 Apache, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 1 more 6 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2026-04-23 N/A
mod_proxy_ftp in Apache 2.2.x before 2.2.7-dev, 2.0.x before 2.0.62-dev, and 1.3.x before 1.3.40-dev does not define a charset, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks using UTF-7 encoding.
