CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rv: Use strings in da monitors tracepoints
Using DA monitors tracepoints with KASAN enabled triggers the following
warning:
BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in do_trace_event_raw_event_event_da_monitor+0xd6/0x1a0
Read of size 32 at addr ffffffffaada8980 by task ...
Call Trace:

? __pfx_do_trace_event_raw_event_event_da_monitor+0x10/0x10
? trace_event_sncid+0x83/0x200
trace_event_sncid+0x163/0x200

The buggy address belongs to the variable:
automaton_snep+0x4e0/0x5e0
This is caused by the tracepoints reading 32 bytes __array instead of
__string from the automata definition. Such strings are literals and
reading 32 bytes ends up in out of bound memory accesses (e.g. the next
automaton's data in this case).
The error is harmless as, while printing the string, we stop at the null
terminator, but it should still be fixed.
Use the __string facilities while defining the tracepoints to avoid
reading out of bound memory. |
| Misskey is an open source, federated social media platform. Starting in version 12.109.0 and prior to version 2025.2.0-alpha.0, due to a lack of CSRF protection and the lack of proper security attributes in the authentication cookies of Bull's dashboard, some of the APIs of bull-board may be subject to CSRF attacks. There is a risk of this vulnerability being used for attacks with relatively large impact on availability and integrity, such as the ability to add arbitrary jobs. This vulnerability was fixed in 2025.2.0-alpha.0. As a workaround, block all access to the `/queue` directory with a web application firewall (WAF). |
| Buffer overflow for some Intel(R) QAT Windows software before version 2.6.0. within Ring 3: User Applications may allow a denial of service. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a low complexity attack may enable denial of service. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires no user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (low), integrity (low) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/damon/ops-common: ignore migration request to invalid nodes
damon_migrate_pages() tries migration even if the target node is invalid.
If users mistakenly make such invalid requests via
DAMOS_MIGRATE_{HOT,COLD} action, the below kernel BUG can happen.

Add a target node validity check in damon_migrate_pages(). The validity
check is stolen from that of do_pages_move(), which is being used for the
move_pages() system call. |
| A vulnerability was found in WebAssembly wabt 1.0.36. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function BinaryReaderInterp::GetReturnCallDropKeepCount of the file wabt/src/interp/binary-reader-interp.cc. The manipulation leads to heap-based buffer overflow. The attack can be initiated remotely. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm: swap: fix potential buffer overflow in setup_clusters()
In setup_swap_map(), we only ensure badpages are in range (0, last_page].
As maxpages might be < last_page, setup_clusters() will encounter a buffer
overflow when a badpage is >= maxpages.
Only call inc_cluster_info_page() for badpage which is < maxpages to fix
the issue. |
| A vulnerability where the JavaScript JIT compiler inlines Array.prototype.push with multiple arguments that results in the stack pointer being off by 8 bytes after a bailout. This leaks a memory address to the calling function which can be used as part of an exploit inside the sandboxed content process. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.2.2 and Firefox < 62.0.3. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in the read_u32 function in Mozilla Firefox before 29.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.5, Thunderbird before 24.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.26 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash) via a crafted JPEG image. |
| TypedArrayObject.cpp in Mozilla Firefox before 28.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.4, Thunderbird before 24.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.25 does not prevent a zero-length transition during use of an ArrayBuffer object, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap-based out-of-bounds write or read) via a crafted web site. |
| The nsXBLProtoImpl::InstallImplementation function in Mozilla Firefox before 29.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.5, Thunderbird before 24.5, and SeaMonkey before 2.26 does not properly check whether objects are XBL objects, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (buffer overflow) via crafted JavaScript code that accesses a non-XBL object as if it were an XBL object. |
| The libxul.so!gfxContext::Polygon function in Mozilla Firefox before 28.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.4, Thunderbird before 24.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.25 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory, cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read and application crash), or possibly bypass the Same Origin Policy via vectors involving MathML polygon rendering. |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability with the Opus encoder when the number of channels in an audio stream changes while the encoder is in use. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 54, Firefox ESR < 52.2, and Thunderbird < 52.2. |
| Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 65, Firefox ESR 60.5, and Thunderbird 60.5. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.6, Firefox ESR < 60.6, and Firefox < 66. |
| A buffer overflow can occur when manipulating the SVG "animatedPathSegList" through script. This results in a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.7, Firefox ESR < 52.7, and Firefox < 59. |
| Buffer overflow in the _cairo_truetype_index_to_ucs4 function in cairo, as used in Mozilla Firefox before 28.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.4, Thunderbird before 24.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.25, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted extension that renders fonts in a PDF document. |
| Memory safety bugs were reported in Firefox 58 and Firefox ESR 52.6. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.7, Firefox ESR < 52.7, and Firefox < 59. |
| An integer overflow vulnerability in the Skia library when allocating memory for edge builders on some systems with at least 8 GB of RAM. This results in the use of uninitialized memory, resulting in a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.6, Firefox ESR < 52.6, and Firefox < 58. |
| Memory safety bugs were reported in Firefox 59, Firefox ESR 52.7, and Thunderbird 52.7. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.8, Thunderbird ESR < 52.8, Firefox < 60, and Firefox ESR < 52.8. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in the evutil_parse_sockaddr_port function in evutil.c in libevent before 2.1.6-beta allows attackers to cause a denial of service (segmentation fault) via vectors involving a long string in brackets in the ip_as_string argument. |
