CVSS v3.1 |
| The Anton Extensions WordPress plugin through 1.2.2 does not perform any capability check, nonce verification, or file-type validation before writing attacker-supplied content to an attacker-chosen path, allowing unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary PHP files and achieve remote code execution. |
| The Squadeno WordPress plugin before 1.12.0 does not enforce its restrictions on every way a sport can be saved, allowing users with the lowest-tier Trainer role to change the section, age group, author, password, comment settings and date of a sport they are assigned to. |
| The Quick quotes WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not perform any capability or nonce check on one of its AJAX actions and lets the caller choose which option is written, allowing unauthenticated users to alter arbitrary site settings and to make the site unavailable. |
| The BuddyPress Instant Chat WordPress plugin through 1.6 does not check that the sender of a chat message belongs to the conversation it is being added to, nor does it escape message content before outputting it back, allowing unauthenticated users to store arbitrary web scripts that will execute in the session of any member who later views that conversation. |
| The Simple Membership WordPress plugin before 4.8.3 does not avoid transmitting a newly registered member's plaintext password in a URL query string when an optional auto-login-after-registration feature is enabled, exposing the credential in browser history and in web server, proxy, and CDN access logs to anyone able to read them. |
| The Topcontent WordPress plugin through 1.2.1 does not properly authorise one of its request handlers and disables HTML sanitisation before storing the submitted content, allowing unauthenticated attackers to publish arbitrary posts containing malicious JavaScript on any site where its API key has never been configured. |
| The WpCues Basic Quiz WordPress plugin through 1.6.5 does not properly sanitise and escape values before using them in a SQL statement, which allows unauthenticated attackers to perform SQL injection attacks and read data from the database. |
| The AI Content Generator Marketing WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not enforce a nonce or capability check on some of its AJAX actions, allowing unauthenticated users to update and delete arbitrary WordPress options, which can be used to gain administrator access to the site. |
| A weakness has been identified in zhayujie CowAgent up to 2.1.6. The affected element is the function read of the file /upload of the component Web Console. This manipulation causes denial of service. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rust: devres: fix race between concurrent revokers
There is a potential race condition when two paths try to revoke a
Devres concurrently.
The driver core's devres_release_all() calls Revocable::revoke() via the
release callback, while Devres::drop() calls revoke_nosync() on another
CPU.
The revoker that does not claim the is_available swap returns
immediately, but the revoker that did may still be executing
drop_in_place() on the inner data. This can cause a use-after-free when
the other revoker's caller proceeds to drop adjacent resources that
drop_in_place() still references (e.g., Devres<DmaMappedSgt> racing with
SGTable freeing the backing sg_table and pages).
Fix this by adding a Completion. The release callback signals the
Completion after revoke() finishes, and Devres::drop() waits for it when
it loses the is_available swap. This ensures the wrapped object is fully
torn down before Devres::drop() returns. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm/huge_memory: initialise workingset state before folio split
xas_try_split() adds __GFP_ACCOUNT for page-cache xa_nodes, but
__folio_split() leaves the xa_state's xa_lru unset. That lets a live,
memcg-charged xa_node exist without being linked into the mapping's
shadow_nodes list_lru; when reclaim later walks the list_lru it trips
VM_WARN_ON(!css_is_dying()).
Use mapping_set_update() to install both the workingset update callback
and the shadow_nodes list_lru on the xa_state. |
| The Download Manager plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'not_found' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.3.58 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The GiveWP – Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's `givewp_campaign_grid` shortcode in versions up to, and including, 4.17.0 This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied shortcode attributes (`filter_by`, `layout`, `sort_by`, `order_by`) in the CampaignGridShortcode::parseAttributes() function combined with the render template emitting `json_encode($attributes)` inside a single-quoted HTML attribute without esc_attr() — json_encode() does not escape single quotes by default, so a `'` in an attribute value breaks out of the enclosing attribute. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Unquoted popup Shortcode Attribute in all versions up to, and including, 7.5.54.7212 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Successful exploitation requires the profile_videos_enable_bio option to be enabled, as script execution occurs on the author bio/archive page where the profile-video shortcode is rendered. |
| The Email Marketing for WordPress and WooCommerce – Retainful plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'data' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.10 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| Executable Regular Expression Error vulnerability in WP Media WP Rocket wp-rocket allows Code Injection.This issue affects WP Rocket: from n/a before 3.23.5. |
| The Post Grid Gutenberg Blocks – PostX plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via display_name User Field in all versions up to, and including, 5.1.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. WordPress core's pre_user_display_name filter encodes &, <, and > but leaves double-quotes intact (ENT_NOQUOTES), allowing a Subscriber-level user to store a double-quote in their display_name via /wp-admin/profile.php that subsequently breaks out of the alt="" attribute at Archive_Title.php:144. |
| The WPO365 | SEAMLESS WORDPRESS + MICROSOFT INTEGRATION (WPO365 | LOGIN) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'id_token' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 44.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is stored in the wpo365_errors transient for up to three days by submitting a crafted unauthenticated request with a forged id_token whose base64url-decoded unique_name or iss claim contains malicious HTML, requiring no prior authentication or user interaction beyond an administrator later visiting the WPO365 wizard page. |
| The Table Field Add-on for ACF and SCF plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Table Field Value in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.1-RC2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| The Presto Player plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via Comment Content via <presto-player> Tag in all versions up to, and including, 4.5.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires an initial comment approval, though WordPress default settings will auto-approve all subsequent comments from the same author, allowing a patient unauthenticated attacker to land the payload without further admin intervention. |
