CVSS v3.1 |
| The PFI plugin framework deployment routine does not validate path components when extracting archive entries to the local plugin repository. Archive entries containing relative path segments such as '..' are not rejected, allowing an unauthenticated local attacker to write files outside the plugin repository to arbitrary locations accessible with the current user's permissions which could result in full system compromise. |
| In sendAnomalyProfile of ProfilingService.java, there is a possible path traversal issue due to path traversal. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco UCS Central Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to achieve remote code execution or conduct information disclosure attacks on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in an HTTP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected endpoint on an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands, write arbitrary files to the filesystem, and obtain sensitive information. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid user credentials on the affected device.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| In Docker Buildx versions v0.19.0 through v0.38.0, an untrusted Bake definition may expose files accessible to the Buildx client without the expected fs.read approval. Under certain conditions, paths under the same parent directory as the current working directory whose names use the working directory's basename as a prefix can skip the filesystem entitlement check. Exploitation requires specific matching filenames next to the current project directory. Users who run untrusted Bake definitions may be affected. The issue is fixed in v0.38.1. |
| This issue was addressed with improved handling of symlinks. This issue is fixed in Xcode 27.2. An app may be able to read arbitrary files. |
| In affected versions of Octopus Server, a user with permission to upload a malicious nuget package is able to deploy a script step so the script executes outside of the parent directory. |
| A vulnerability allowing an authenticated user with the Restore Operator role, who also controls the contents of a backed-up NAS share, to write attacker-controlled files to an arbitrary path on the backup server through relative path traversal. |
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.138 does not properly validate a backup storage directory path before using it to create directories and write files, allowing administrators to cause those directories and files to be created outside the intended backup location via path traversal. |
| A path traversal issue was addressed with improved path validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27. An app may be able to break out of its sandbox. |
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 does not sanitize the staging destination folder supplied to its staging-start handler, applying only a generic text filter while the sibling writability-check handler applies the correct filename sanitizer, so an authenticated administrator can supply a path containing traversal sequences and make the WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 write the copied site files outside the WordPress installation directory. |
| An arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the /api/upload component of zdir v3.2.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted .ssh file. |
| SiYuan before 3.8.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the MCP asset tool because validateAssetUploadPaths relies on an incomplete sensitive-path blacklist that omits .env and other secret files. Authenticated attackers driving the MCP asset upload action can copy such local files into the workspace and read them back via /assets/ over HTTP. |
| A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. An attacker with physical access to a trust-paired device may be able to read and write arbitrary files. |
| A path handling issue was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system. |
| Dell OpenManage Enterprise, versions prior to 4.8.0, contains an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with adjacent network access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Filesystem access for attacker. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Filesystem access for attacker. |
| Forgejo through 15.0.11, 16.0.0 through 16.0.7, and 17.0.0 through 17.0.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in restore-repo that allows attackers to read files outside the dump directory via crafted asset paths. Attackers can supply a dump whose release.yml DownloadURL or PatchURL contains ../ sequences, importing files like app.ini as release attachments when an administrator restores it. |
| A malicious actor with access to the network could exploit a Path Traversal vulnerability found in UniFi OS devices to access files on the underlying system that could be manipulated to access an underlying account. |
| Information loss in CustomTabs in Google Chrome on on Android prior to 156.0.8078.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Data::MuForm::Localizer versions through 0.05 for Perl execute Perl from a message catalog header, reached at an arbitrary path because load_lexicon interpolates the language attribute into the catalog filename.
load_lexicon builds the catalog path by appending `Messages/$lang.po` to the directory holding Localizer.pm, where $lang is the language attribute, with no check that it names a bare locale tag. A value holding `../` segments walks out of the message directory, so any readable path with a `.po` suffix is loaded. While parsing the catalog, extract_header_msgstr takes the `Plural-Forms:` header, prefixes `$` to the bare words nplurals, plural and n, and passes the rest verbatim into a string that is evaluated: the nplurals form evaluates the header expression immediately, and the plural_code form compiles it into a subroutine whose body runs when a plural message is localized. A header of `nplurals=2; plural=(system('...'),0);` therefore runs that command as the catalog loads. The evaluation inherits strict, so an expression that assigns to an undeclared variable fails to compile, while one built from calls alone does not.
An application that sets the language attribute from request data, an Accept-Language header or a locale parameter, and an attacker who can place a file with a `.po` suffix and chosen contents at a readable path, together give code execution as the application user. The message expansion path is not affected: expand_named substitutes only the placeholder names the caller supplies, and _mangle_value returns the value unchanged. |
