CVSS v3.1 |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability where a malformed drive DEVICE_IOREQUEST with a truncated IRP_MJ_CREATE body silently kills the drive worker. A malicious RDP server can send such an IRP then post further requests that accumulate unbounded in the IrpQueue, exhausting memory and causing session availability loss. |
| HTTP::Server::PSGI versions before 1.0056 for Perl allow a single request to crash the server by declaring a large Content-Length.
The request body is read with sysread() calls sized by the remaining Content-Length. Perl grows the read buffer to the requested length before any data arrives, so the server tries to allocate as much memory as the client declares.
A remote attacker can send one request with a large Content-Length and a few body bytes, and perl exits with an out-of-memory error before the application is called. HTTP::Server::PSGI runs as a single process, so the server stays down until restarted. |
| flat through 6.0.1 contains an uncontrolled resource allocation vulnerability in unflatten() that allows attackers to create huge sparse arrays via unbounded numeric keys. Attackers can supply flattened keys such as a.4294967294, causing iteration with forEach, spread or JSON.stringify to block the Node.js event loop. |
| SQLite before 3.54.0 contains a stack exhaustion vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass the SQLITE_LIMIT_EXPR_DEPTH nesting limit because common table expressions are not counted against it. Attackers can supply a WITH clause chaining tens of thousands of CTEs, via plain SQL or a view in an untrusted database file, causing unbounded selectExpander() recursion that crashes the process. |
| IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service using a specially crafted regular expression that would cause excessive resource consumption. |
| OvenMediaEngine through 0.21.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability in OvtPacket::LoadHeader() that allows unauthenticated attackers to stall connections by sending payload_length values above 32750. Attackers can send crafted OVT packets to the OVT listener to hold connections open indefinitely and accumulate buffered memory, disrupting origin-to-edge stream relay. |
| Vulnerability due to a lack of request limits in Alosuite’s password recovery functionality. The ‘/Account/resetPwd’ endpoint does not enforce adequate restrictions on the number or frequency of password reset requests sent for a single account. As a result, a remote attacker can repeatedly call the endpoint to generate an unlimited number of password reset emails addressed to a user, causing an email flood and enabling abuse of the password recovery mechanism. The absence of request limits or other controls against automation can harm legitimate users, consume application and email infrastructure resources, and facilitate automated attacks against the password recovery service. |
| pageant provides a PageantStream type that implements AsyncRead and AsyncWrite traits and can be used to communicate with a running Pageant instance. From 0.2.0 until 0.2.5, PageantStream::new in pageant/src/wmmessage.rs trusts a peer-controlled four-byte length prefix and buffers until len + 4 bytes are available without checking the fixed _AGENT_MAX_MSGLEN transport capacity. An application that bridges an SSH forwarded-agent channel to the raw stream can allow a malicious server to force large allocations or retain a partially filled frame, causing client memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 0.2.5. |
| **UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED** Unbounded allocation in XML parsing in Apache Vysper; all versions, may lead to an out of memory condition.
This issue affects all versions of Apache Vysper. Apache Vysper is an XMPP (Jabber) server library.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, the NetX Secure DTLS server allocates a session from its fixed session pool for the first datagram from any unrecognised address and port, before the cookie exchange, and never releases a session whose handshake stalls. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exhaust the pool with one spoofed datagram per source and deny DTLS service to legitimate clients until the application resets the sessions. |
| An issue was discovered in drivers/usb/storage/ene_ub6250.c for the ENE UB6250 reader driver in the Linux kernel before 6.2.5. An object could potentially extend beyond the end of an allocation. |
| Knative pkg provides common packages shared across Knative repositories. Prior to 0.0.0-20260531000007-52dbd5ece63f, the knative.dev/pkg/webhook admissionHandler in webhook/admission.go decodes an attacker-supplied AdmissionReview through json.NewDecoder(io.TeeReader(r.Body, &bodyBuffer)) under an http.HandlerFunc without an http.MaxBytesReader or equivalent body-size limit. A pod-network client can send one oversized POST to an admission webhook, causing the decoder and bodyBuffer to retain amplified copies of the request until the controller pod exhausts memory and is OOM-killed. Every downstream consumer using the shared webhook server inherits the vulnerable behavior, including Knative, Tekton, KEDA, Sigstore policy-controller, and Kpack. For consumers configured with failurePolicy=Fail, loss of the controller can interrupt admission; with failurePolicy=Ignore, the affected webhook is unavailable while other admissions continue. This issue is fixed in version 0.0.0-20260531000007-52dbd5ece63f. |
| LibreSSL ocspcheck through 4.4.0 contains a memory exhaustion vulnerability that allows malicious OCSP responders to exhaust memory by sending unbounded HTTP responses. Attackers controlling the responder or intercepting plain HTTP AIA OCSP traffic can stream endless headers or body data to http_head_read() and http_body_read(), denying certificate status checks. |
| russh is a Rust SSH client and server library that includes an SSH agent protocol implementation. Prior to 0.65.0, russh::keys::agent::server::serve in russh/src/keys/agent/server.rs accepts repeated SSH_AGENT_CONSTRAIN_CONFIRM records while adding a key and appends every Constraint::Confirm record to the key's retained constraint vector without a count or memory limit. A process that can connect to the agent socket, including the remote side of a forwarded agent session, can repeatedly add constrained keys and cause renewable memory growth that persists for the process lifetime because keys without a lifetime constraint do not expire. This issue is fixed in version 0.65.0. |
| Semantic MediaWiki from 2.5.0 before 7.3.1 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows low-privilege editors to bypass smwgMaxNumRecurringEvents by supplying a large limit parameter. Attackers can save pages using #set_recurring_event without an end date to generate thousands or millions of date subobjects, exhausting CPU, memory, and database resources. |
| Seroval facilitates JavaScript value stringification, including complex structures beyond JSON.stringify capabilities. From 1.4.1 until 1.6.8, fromJSON and fromCrossJSON do not require an array node's element list to be an actual array. A small crafted payload can supply an attacker-controlled length that determines memory allocation and decoder iterations independently of payload size, allowing an unauthenticated request to exhaust the process or block its thread. This issue is a residual bypass of the remediation for CVE-2026-23957. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.8. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Drupal Events Log Track allows Excessive Allocation. This issue affects Events Log Track: from 0.0.0 before 3.1.11, from 4.0.0 before 4.0.2. |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.32.0, the Phi-4 multimodal audio encoder in phi4mm_audio.py and phi4mm_utils.py uses eager attention by default, allowing a remote client to submit one legal long audio clip that causes MultiHeadedAttention.forward_attention to materialize and retain full attention matrices in self.attn. The scaled dot-product attention branch does not materialize these matrices. The resulting quadratic GPU-memory use can cause an out-of-memory condition and terminate EngineCore for all users. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.0. |
| Prototype pollution attack when using _.zipObjectDeep in lodash before 4.17.20. |
| A DNSSEC validating resolver that is under a random subdomain attack against a DNSSEC-signed zone can suffer from runaway memory usage. The attacker needs to be able to send queries faster than the resolver can perform validation. The increased memory usage can be orders of magnitude beyond the limit configured in the `max-cache-size` parameter.
This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.11.0 through 9.18.50, 9.20.0 through 9.20.24, 9.21.0 through 9.21.23, 9.11.3-S1 through 9.18.50-S1, and 9.20.9-S1 through 9.20.24-S1. |
