CVSS v3.1 |
| A specific flaw exists within the Bluetooth stack of the MIB3 infotainment. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in an integer overflow when receiving non-fragmented HCI packets on a channel.
The vulnerability was originally discovered in Skoda Superb III car with MIB3 infotainment unit OEM part number 3V0035820. The list of affected MIB3 OEM part numbers is provided in the referenced resources. |
An integer underflow vulnerability is present in Silicon Lab’s implementation of PSA Crypto and SE Manager EC-JPAKE APIs during ZKP parsing. Triggering the underflow can lead to a hard fault, causing a temporary denial of service.
For TCAS II systems using transponders compliant with MOPS earlier than RTCA DO-181F, an attacker can impersonate a ground station and issue a Comm-A Identity Request. This action can set the Sensitivity Level Control (SLC) to the lowest setting and disable the Resolution Advisory (RA), leading to a denial-of-service condition.
Parallaxis Cuckoo Clock 5.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory registers in the alarm scheduling feature. Attackers can craft a malicious payload exceeding 260 bytes to overwrite EIP and EBP, enabling shellcode execution with potential remote code execution.
An out-of-bounds read in the ASP could allow a privileged attacker with access to a malicious bootloader to potentially read sensitive memory resulting in loss of confidentiality.
Out-of-bounds read vulnerability caused by improper checking of TCP MSS option values exists in Cente middleware TCP/IP Network Series, which may lead to processing a specially crafted packet to cause the affected product crashed.
FileOptimizer 14.00.2524 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by manipulating the FileOptimizer32.ini configuration file. Attackers can overwrite the TempDirectory parameter with a 5000-character buffer to cause the application to crash when opening options.
The HTTPD binary in multiple ZTE routers has a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in check_data_integrity function. This function is responsible for validating the checksum of data in post request. The checksum is sent encrypted in the request, the function decrypts it and stores the checksum on the stack without validating it. An unauthenticated attacker can get RCE as root by exploiting this vulnerability.
A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS 7 V9.1 (All versions < V9.1 SP2 UC04), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V17 (All versions < V17 Update 8), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V18 (All versions < V18 Update 4), SIMATIC WinCC Runtime Professional V19 (All versions < V19 Update 1), SIMATIC WinCC V7.5 (All versions < V7.5 SP2 Update 16), SIMATIC WinCC V8.0 (All versions < V8.0 Update 5). The affected products do not properly validate the input provided in the login dialog box. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to cause a persistent denial of service condition.
FTPPad <= 1.2.0 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its FTP directory listing parser. When the client connects to an FTP server and receives a crafted response to a LIST command containing an excessively long directory and filename, the application fails to properly validate input length. This results in a buffer overflow that overwrites the saved Extended Instruction Pointer (EIP), allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code.
NVIDIA Display Driver for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker might cause an improper index validation by issuing a call with crafted parameters. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to data tampering or denial of service.
Improper buffer restrictions for some Intel(R) Xeon(R) Processor firmware with SGX enabled may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
NVIDIA vGPU software contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where a malicious guest could cause a stack buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, information disclosure, or data tampering.
httpd.c in atophttpd 2.8.0 has an off-by-one error and resultant out-of-bounds read because a certain 1024-character req string would not have a final '\0' character.
Synapse is an open source Matrix homeserver implementation. Lack of validation for device keys in Synapse before 1.138.3 and in Synapse 1.139.0 allow an attacker registered on the victim homeserver to degrade federation functionality, unpredictably breaking outbound federation to other homeservers. The issue is patched in Synapse 1.138.3, 1.138.4, 1.139.1, and 1.139.2. Note that even though 1.138.3 and 1.139.1 fix the vulnerability, they inadvertently introduced an unrelated regression. For this reason, the maintainers of Synapse recommend skipping these releases and upgrading straight to 1.138.4 and 1.139.2.
Integer overflow or wraparound in the Linux kernel-mode driver for some Intel(R) 800 Series Ethernet before version 1.17.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via local access.
ts-asn1-der is a collection of utility classes to encode ASN.1 data following DER rule. Incorrect number DER encoding can lead to denial on service for absolute values in the range 2**31 -- 2**32 - 1. The arithmetic in the numBitLen didn't take into account that values in this range could result in a negative result upon applying the >> operator, leading to an infinite loop. The issue is patched in version 1.0.4. If upgrading is not an option, the issue can be mitigated by validating inputs to Asn1Integer to ensure that they are not smaller than -2**31 + 1 and no larger than 2**31 - 1.
A stack overflow in the ZBarcode_Encode function of Monkeybread Software MBS DynaPDF Plugin v21.3.1.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
NVIDIA vGPU software for Linux-style hypervisors contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager, where a malicious guest could cause stack buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, denial of service, escalation of privileges, information disclosure, or data tampering.
XWiki Remote Macros provides XWiki rendering macros that are useful when migrating content from Confluence. Starting in version 1.0 and prior to version 1.26.5, missing escaping of the title in the confluence paste code macro allows remote code execution for any user who can edit any page. The classes parameter is used without escaping in XWiki syntax, thus allowing XWiki syntax injection which enables remote code execution. Version 1.26.5 has a fix for the issue.
