CWE-918 Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)
Northern.tech Hosted Mender before 2024.07.11 allows SSRF.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the URL processing functionality of PHProxy version 1.1.1 and prior. The input validation for the _proxurl parameter can be bypassed, allowing a remote, unauthenticated attacker to submit a specially crafted URL
hackmd-mcp is a Model Context Protocol server for integrating HackMD's note-taking platform with AI assistants. From 1.4.0 to before 1.5.0, hackmd-mcp contains a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability when the server is run in HTTP transport mode. Arbitrary hackmdApiUrl values supplied via the Hackmd-Api-Url HTTP header or a base64-encoded JSON query parameter are accepted without validation, allowing attackers to redirect outbound API requests to internal network services, access internal endpoints, perform network reconnaissance, and bypass network access controls. The stdio transport mode is not affected because it only accepts stdio requests. The issue is fixed in version 1.5.0, which enforces allowed endpoints and supports the ALLOWED_HACKMD_API_URLS environment variable. Users should update to 1.5.0 or later or apply documented mitigations such as switching to stdio mode, restricting outbound network access, or filtering the Hackmd-Api-Url header and related query parameter via a reverse proxy.
A vulnerability classified as critical was found in cloudfavorites favorites-web up to 1.3.0. Affected by this vulnerability is the function getCollectLogoUrl of the file app/src/main/java/com/favorites/web/CollectController.java. The manipulation of the argument url leads to server-side request forgery. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
The Auto Featured Image (Auto Post Thumbnail) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.7 via the upload_to_library AJAX action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with author-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
PhpOffice/PhpSpreadsheet is a pure PHP library for reading and writing spreadsheet files. Prior to versions 1.30.0, 2.1.12, 2.4.0, 3.10.0, and 5.0.0, SSRF can occur when a processed HTML document is read and displayed in the browser. The vulnerability lies in the setPath method of the PhpOffice\PhpSpreadsheet\Worksheet\Drawing class, where a crafted string from the user is passed to the HTML reader. This issue has been patched in versions 1.30.0, 2.1.12, 2.4.0, 3.10.0, and 5.0.0.
Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in Icegram Icegram Express Pro email-subscribers-premium allows Server Side Request Forgery. This issue affects Icegram Express Pro: from n/a through <= 5.9.5.
SAP NetWeaver Administrator(System Overview) allows an authenticated attacker to enumerate accessible HTTP endpoints in the internal network by specially crafting HTTP requests. On successful exploitation this can result in Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) which could have a low impact on integrity and confidentiality of data. It has no impact on availability of the application.
A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability exists in the latest version of vanna-ai/vanna when using DuckDB as the database. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by submitting crafted SQL queries that leverage DuckDB's default features, such as `read_csv`, `read_csv_auto`, `read_text`, and `read_blob`, to make unauthorized requests to internal or external resources. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data, internal systems, and potentially further attacks.
An unauthenticated attacker may perform a limited server side request forgery (SSRF), forcing the target device to open a TCP connection to an arbitrary port number on an arbitrary IP address. This SSRF leverages the WS-Addressing ReplyTo element in a Web service (HTTP TCP port 80) SOAP request. The attacker can not control the data sent in the SSRF connection, nor can the attacker receive any data back. This SSRF is suitable for TCP port scanning of an internal network when the Web service (HTTP TCP port 80) is exposed across a network segment.
An unauthenticated attacker may perform a blind server side request forgery (SSRF), due to a CLRF injection issue that can be leveraged to perform HTTP request smuggling. This SSRF leverages the WS-Addressing feature used during a WS-Eventing subscription SOAP operation. The attacker can control all the HTTP data sent in the SSRF connection, but the attacker can not receive any data back from this connection.
Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM contains a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) Vulnerability. A malicious actor with user privileges may be able to access restricted internal system information, potentially enabling enumeration of internal network resources.
BrightSign Digital Signage Diagnostic Web Server 8.2.26 and less contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in the 'url' GET parameter of the Download Speed Test service. Attackers can specify external domains to bypass firewalls and perform network enumeration by forcing the application to make arbitrary HTTP requests to internal network hosts.
The Google Doc Embedder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server Side Request Forgery via the 'gview' shortcode in versions up to, and including, 2.6.4. This can allow authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or above to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
| Server-side request forgery (SSRF) in PingFederate allows unauthenticated http requests to attack network resources and consume server-side resources via forged HTTP POST requests.
|
An issue in Open-Source Technology Committee SRS real-time video server RS/4.0.268(Leo) and SRS/4.0.195(Leo) allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via a crafted request.
The Proofpoint Encryption endpoint of Proofpoint Enterprise Protection contains a Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability that allows an authenticated user to relay HTTP requests from the Protection server to otherwise private network addresses.
| Users with low privileges can perform certain AJAX actions. In this vulnerability instance, improper access to ajax?action=plugin:focus:checkIframeAvailability leads to a Server-Side Request Forgery by analyzing the error messages returned from the back-end. Allowing an attacker to perform a port scan in the back-end. At the time of publication of the CVE no patch is available.

Canarytokens help track activity and actions on a network. Prior to `sha-8ea5315`, Canarytokens.org was vulnerable to a blind SSRF in the Webhook alert feature. When a Canarytoken is created, users choose to receive alerts either via email or via a webhook. If a webhook is supplied when a Canarytoken is first created, the site will make a test request to the supplied URL to ensure it accepts alert notification HTTP requests. No safety checks were performed on the URL, leading to a Server-Side Request Forgery vulnerability. The SSRF is Blind because the content of the response is not displayed to the creating user; they are simply told whether an error occurred in making the test request. Using the Blind SSRF, it was possible to map out open ports for IPs inside the Canarytokens.org infrastructure. This issue is now patched on Canarytokens.org. Users of self-hosted Canarytokens installations can update by pulling the latest Docker image, or any Docker image after `sha-097d91a`.
