| CVE-2026-53980 | 1 Charmbracelet | 1 Wish | 2026-11-06 | 8.1 High |
| Charmbracelet wish before 2.0.5 contains a path traversal vulnerability in the git middleware (charm.land/wish/v2) that allows authenticated SSH users to escape the configured repository directory by supplying crafted repo paths that bypass a flawed forward-slash-count containment check in git.Middleware(). Attackers can use a single-depth path ../evil, or on Windows a payload ..\..\evil that defeats the slash-count guard entirely, to read or write arbitrary repositories outside the intended root via git-upload-pack, git-upload-archive, or git-receive-pack. | ||||
| CVE-2026-41589 | 2 Charm, Charmbracelet | 2 Wish, Wish | 2026-05-29 | 9.6 Critical |
| Wish is an SSH server with defaults and a collection of middlewares. From version 2.0.0 to before version 2.0.1, the SCP middleware in charm.land/wish/v2 is vulnerable to path traversal attacks. A malicious SCP client can read arbitrary files from the server, write arbitrary files to the server, and create directories outside the configured root directory by sending crafted filenames containing ../ sequences over the SCP protocol. This issue has been patched in version 2.0.1. | ||||
