CVSS v3.1 |
| Authenticated Path Traversal in Catalog Image Management allows writing image files outside the intended directory in Apache OFBiz.
This issue affects Apache OFBiz: before 24.09.08.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 24.09.08, which fixes the issue. |
| A flaw was found in libcupsfilters and cups-filters. The PNG image reading function creates a libpng reader without installing an error recovery handler, causing the CUPS image filter process to abort when processing a malformed PNG file. An unauthenticated attacker could exploit this by submitting a specially crafted PNG print job, leading to denial of service of the in-flight print job. |
| Incorrect operator (CWE-480) in the FetchSnapshot RPC handler
in Apache Kafka from 2.8.0 before 4.2.2, and from 4.3.0 before 4.3.2
on all platforms allows an authenticated attacker with
CLUSTER_ACTION privilege to cause a denial of service
(controller process termination) via a crafted
FetchSnapshotRequest with an empty topics array or a topic
with no partitions.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 4.2.2, 4.3.2, or
4.4.0, which fix this issue. Users on unsupported branches
(4.1.x and earlier) should upgrade to 4.2.2 or later. |
| In multiple locations, there is a possible permission bypass due to an uncaught exception. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Envoy is a cloud-native, open source edge and service proxy. Due to how Envoy invoked the nlohmann JSON library, the library could throw an uncaught exception from downstream data if incomplete UTF-8 strings were serialized. The uncaught exception would cause Envoy to crash. |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in Undertow. This issue may allow a remote attacker to append a specially-crafted sequence to an HTTP request for an application deployed to JBoss EAP, which may permit access to privileged or restricted files and directories. |
| Aedes is an MQTT broker that can run on any stream server. Prior to 1.1.1, the MQTT broker does not bound topic depth or structural complexity before passing topics through `mqemitter` into `qlobber`. A `PUBLISH`, `SUBSCRIBE`, or registered `Will` message containing an excessively deep topic can reach `qlobber._split_words` in `lib/qlobber.js` and trigger an uncaught `too many words` exception. Calls from `handlers/subscribe.js` and the publishing logic are not protected against that exception, so it escapes to the `Node.js event loop` and terminates the entire broker. The `Will` path is independently reachable when a client disconnects ungracefully: it calls `broker.publish` directly and bypasses the `PUBLISH` handler. An attacker must be able to establish an `MQTT session`, authenticated or unauthenticated according to broker configuration. A successful attack disconnects all legitimate clients and prevents reconnection until the broker process restarts. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.1. |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains an unchecked type assertion in buildStatementMap that allows unauthenticated attackers to crash the policy engine via crafted attestation statements. Attackers can push an OCI referrer manifest with a non-string type field to bypass image verification under failurePolicy Ignore or crash-loop the reports-controller. |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains an unchecked type assertion in its variable-substitution engine that allows users who can submit resources to crash the policy engine. Attackers can submit resources with non-string fields referenced by {{- variable }} shallow substitution in policies, causing a panic that yields webhook denial of service and policy bypass under failurePolicy Ignore. |
| tsParticles is a TypeScript library for creating highly customizable particle animations. Prior to 4.3.1, the HTTP mode of @tsparticles/mcp-server calls JSON.parse outside a request-local error boundary in the POST /mcp handler in integrations/mcp-server/src/index.ts. A single unauthenticated malformed JSON body raises a SyntaxError that terminates the Node.js process, leaving the MCP service unavailable until an external supervisor restarts it. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.1. |
| A flaw was found in the mod_auth_openidc module for Apache httpd. This flaw allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to trigger a denial of service by sending an empty POST request when the OIDCPreservePost directive is enabled. The server crashes consistently, affecting availability. |
| A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in WatchGuard Fireware OS’s management interface allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker with network access to the management interface to crash the management service by sending a specially crafted login request. Repeated exploitation terminates all active administrator sessions and in-progress management operations and can prevent management of the device. Traffic processing is not affected. |
| Improper handling of exceptional conditions in the quota subsystem of Apache ZooKeeper allows an attacker able to write under the /zookeeper/quota subtree — unauthenticated on default deployments, where that subtree is world-writable — to crash the server's critical request-processing thread and render the on-disk data directory permanently unbootable.
This issue affects Apache ZooKeeper up to and including 3.9.6. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.8.8 or 3.9.7, which fixes the issue. |
| Improper input validation vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ, Apache ActiveMQ KahaDB.
A user can create a durable subscription with a clientId and subscription name that have a combined length > 65,535 (while separately being shorter) on a broker using KahaDB which can cause the broker to shutdown and be unrecoverable.
This issue affects Apache ActiveMQ: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12; Apache ActiveMQ KahaDB: from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3, before 5.19.12.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 6.4.0, 6.3.3 or 5.19.12, which fixes the issue. |
| In validEfCfis of SIMRecords.java, there is a possible way to cause a denial of service due to an uncaught exception. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In BuildKit versions v0.26.0 through v0.34.1, a specific build definition that resolves metadata for the same Git source reference twice can cause the BuildKit daemon to panic and crash, interrupting builds handled by that daemon. The issue is fixed in v0.34.2. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability in WinPR's winpr_read_png_from_buffer() and winpr_convert_from_jpeg(), which lack libpng/libjpeg error handling. A malicious RDP server or MITM can offer a malformed PNG or truncated JPEG clipboard payload, causing the client to abort or exit. |
| Parse Server before 8.6.110 and 9.0.0 before 9.10.6-alpha.2 fails to contain a serialization error when an object update uses a dot notation key targeting a pointer field's object identifier on a class with an afterSave trigger. Attackers, including unauthenticated clients when objects are writable without a session, can send such an update to crash the Node process. |
| svg-sanitizer from 1.1.0 before 1.1.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows remote attackers to crash requests by submitting SVG input ending inside an unclosed tag. Attackers can upload truncated input like a single '<' to trigger an uncaught ValueError from strpos() in hasElementWithTooManyAttributes() or hasInternalDtdSubset() on PHP 8, failing the request. |
| @fastify/cors is the CORS plugin for the Fastify web framework. In versions 8.2.0 through 11.3.x, an application that registers the plugin with the non-default onSend hook option crashes on a CORS preflight. On an OPTIONS request that carries the Origin and Access-Control-Request-Method headers, the plugin calls reply.send from inside the onSend hook and re-enters the send pipeline, so a second write of the response headers throws an uncaught ERR_HTTP_HEADERS_SENT that can terminate the Node.js process when no process-level handler is installed. An unauthenticated remote client can trigger this with a single preflight request, so the impact is availability only, and exploitation requires the non-default onSend configuration. The issue is fixed in @fastify/cors 11.4.0, where onSend is no longer an accepted hook value and registration fails with a clear error instead of crashing at request time, and users should upgrade to 11.4.0 or later. As a workaround, use any other hook such as the default onRequest, or set preflight to false. |
