| CVE-2026-92483 | 1 Linux | 2 Kernel, Linux Kernel | 2026-09-19 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: liveupdate: Remember FLB retrieve() status LUO keeps track of successful retrieve attempts on an FLB. It does so to avoid multiple retrievals of the same FLB. Multiple retrievals cause problems because once the FLB is retrieved, the serialized data structures are likely freed and the FLB is likely in a very different state from what the code expects. All this works well when retrieve succeeds. When it fails, luo_flb_retrieve_one() returns the error immediately, without ever storing anywhere that a retrieve was attempted or what its error code was. If the user attempts to retrieve another file registered with the same FLB, LUO will attempt to call the FLB's retrieve() callback again. The retry is problematic for much of the same reasons listed above. The FLB is likely in a very different state than what the retrieve logic normally expects (e.g. some KHO pages may have already been restored and freed). There is no sane way of attempting the retrieve again. Remember the error retrieve returned and directly return it on a retry. This is done by changing the retrieved bool to a retrieve_status integer. A value of 0 means retrieve was never attempted, a positive value means it succeeded, and a negative value means it failed and the error code is the value. This is similar to commit f85b1c6af5bc ("liveupdate: luo_file: remember retrieve() status") which did the same for LUO files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78422 | 1 Z-galaxy | 1 Zbus Polkit | 2026-09-01 | 7.0 High |
| Subject::new_for_owner() in the zbus_polkit crate encodes the uid entry of a unix-process polkit subject as an unsigned 32-bit integer (D-Bus type u), whereas the org.freedesktop.PolicyKit1.Authority interface specifies a signed 32-bit integer (D-Bus type i). Because of this type mismatch, polkit silently discards the caller-supplied UID and instead determines the subject's owner itself by looking up the PID in /proc, a lookup that is inherently subject to a time-of-check/time-of-use race. Consequently, an application that passes a UID obtained from a trustworthy source — for example SO_PEERCRED Unix socket peer credentials — in order to defend against PID reuse receives no protection, and the supplied UID has no effect on the authorization decision. A local unprivileged attacker who can cause an authorized process to terminate and then win the race to have their own process assigned the same PID can be authorized under the identity of the terminated process, bypassing the polkit authorization check and performing actions the attacker is not entitled to. This issue affects zbus_polkit before 5.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5868 | 2 Postgresql, Redhat | 22 Postgresql, Advanced Cluster Security, Codeready Linux Builder Eus and 19 more | 2026-06-23 | 4.3 Medium |
| A memory disclosure vulnerability was found in PostgreSQL that allows remote users to access sensitive information by exploiting certain aggregate function calls with 'unknown'-type arguments. Handling 'unknown'-type values from string literals without type designation can disclose bytes, potentially revealing notable and confidential information. This issue exists due to excessive data output in aggregate function calls, enabling remote users to read some portion of system memory. | ||||

| CVE-2026-33783 | 2 Juniper, Juniper Networks | 9 Junos Os Evolved, Ptx10001-36mr, Ptx10002-36qdd and 6 more | 2026-04-17 | 6.5 Medium |
| A Function Call With Incorrect Argument Type vulnerability in the sensor interface of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series allows a network-based, authenticated attacker with low privileges to cause a complete Denial of Service (DoS). If colored SRTE policy tunnels are provisioned via PCEP, and gRPC is used to monitor traffic in these tunnels, evo-aftmand crashes and doesn't restart which leads to a complete and persistent service impact. The system has to be manually restarted to recover. The issue is seen only when the Originator ASN field in PCEP contains a value larger than 65,535 (32-bit ASN). The issue is not reproducible when SRTE policy tunnels are statically configured. This issue affects Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series: * all versions before 22.4R3-S9-EVO, * 23.2 versions before 23.2R2-S6-EVO, * 23.4 versions before 23.4R2-S7-EVO, * 24.2 versions before 24.2R2-S4-EVO, * 24.4 versions before 24.4R2-S2-EVO, * 25.2 versions before 25.2R1-S2-EVO, 25.2R2-EVO. | ||||
