| CVE-2026-88252 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 6 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 3 more | 2026-11-06 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local user can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting the responder service's available file descriptors (system handles used for open connections). By opening and maintaining many concurrent connections to a responder socket while continuing to queue new connection attempts, an attacker can trigger an unthrottled retry loop. This condition leads to high CPU utilization and stalls the service, preventing legitimate identity and authentication requests from being processed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107602 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 5 Red Hat Build Of Keycloak 26.4, Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the SAML 1.1 XML parsing logic of Keycloak, an open-source identity and access management solution. The issue occurs when the parser encounters unexpected elements within a security token's key information section, causing the processing thread to enter an infinite loop. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit this by sending specially crafted requests, leading to 100% CPU usage and a total denial of service that requires a server restart to resolve. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64611 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-05 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libcupsfilters. The cfIEEE1284NormalizeMakeModel() function enters an infinite loop when processing a printer-advertised IEEE-1284 device ID with an empty model field, causing sustained CPU consumption. A network-adjacent attacker could exploit this by broadcasting a specially crafted printer advertisement, leading to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113792 | 1 Py-pdf | 1 Pypdf | 2026-11-05 | 3.3 Low |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.20.1, calling PdfWriter.find_outline_item on a crafted PDF with a cyclic outline hierarchy can enter an infinite loop and block the current process. This issue is fixed in version 6.20.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-113793 | 1 Py-pdf | 1 Pypdf | 2026-11-05 | 4.3 Medium |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.20.1, removing an object from a crafted cyclic PDF tree, such as an outline item, can enter an infinite loop and block the current process. This issue is fixed in version 6.20.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111496 | 1 Apache | 1 Kafka | 2026-11-05 | 9.1 Critical |
| Kafka Streams derives its stream-time clock from record timestamps. PunctuationSchedule.next() computed the next punctuation time as timestamp + (intervalsMissed + 1) * interval with no overflow check. A record with a timestamp at or near Long.MAX_VALUE advances stream time to that value, so the next stream-time punctuation overflows to a negative time. PunctuationQueue then re-queues that time and loops on it indefinitely while holding a lock, stalling the StreamThread. Impact: A single record is enough. The affected StreamThread stops processing, and because the record stays in the topic the hang returns on restart; an application whose partitions are all affected becomes unresponsive. Only the Streams application is affected, not the brokers or the cluster. Triggering it needs write access to a source topic whose topology uses stream-time punctuation, and a broker that stores the record: brokers from Apache Kafka 4.0.0 reject such a timestamp by default (log.message.timestamp.after.max.ms, one hour), so it is reachable only on older brokers or where that bound has been relaxed. Mitigation: Upgrade Kafka Streams to 4.2.2, 4.3.2, or 4.4.0. As defense in depth, keep log.message.timestamp.after.max.ms bounded on source topics and restrict write access to them. Resolution: From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.2, and 4.4.0: the next punctuation time is computed with overflow-checked arithmetic (clamped to Long.MAX_VALUE), and a rescheduled punctuation is re-queued only when its time moves forward. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18726 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Open Iscsi | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in open-iscsi. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker on the same local network segment to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) in the iscsiuio daemon. By sending a specially crafted Internet Control Message Protocol version 6 (ICMPv6) Router Advertisement with a zero-length option, the attacker can trigger an infinite loop. This leads to sustained CPU usage, rendering the daemon unresponsive and impacting system availability. A secondary risk of out-of-bounds reads exists with a short IPv6 payload, though no memory corruption or data exposure has been confirmed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-110931 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 5 Red Hat Build Of Keycloak 26.4, Build Keycloak, Build Of Keycloak and 2 more | 2026-11-05 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in the SAML 1.1 assertion parser of Keycloak, a tool used for identity and access management. The issue occurs when the parser handles a specific element called AuthorityBinding within an authentication statement. Due to an incomplete fix for a previous vulnerability, the parser can enter an infinite loop that consumes all available memory, causing the entire Keycloak service to crash and become unavailable to users. | ||||
| CVE-2026-123273 | 1 Imagemagick | 1 Imagemagick | 2026-11-05 | 6.5 Medium |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-35 and 6.9.13-60 contains an infinite loop vulnerability in the SVG decoder because QueueAuthenticPixelCacheNexus in MagickCore/cache.c fails to validate requested region width and height. Attackers can supply a crafted SVG image that repeatedly requests a non-advancing pixel region, consuming CPU and hanging the decoding worker. | ||||

| CVE-2026-99244 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-11-05 | 3.3 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: pid_namespace: prevent TIF_NOTIFY_SIGNAL from interrupting the reaper Since commit 7fea700e04bd ("zap_pid_ns_processes: clear TIF_NOTIFY_SIGNAL along with TIF_SIGPENDING") zap_pid_ns_processes() clears TIF_NOTIFY_SIGNAL before every kernel_wait4() call. Otherwise kernel_wait4() doesn't sleep and returns -ERESTARTSYS if signal_pending() is true and the reaper busy-waits. But clearing TIF_NOTIFY_SIGNAL doesn't fix it. It can get raised again. For example, klp_send_signals() sets it raw against any task that hasn't transitioned yet. And it keeps sending it until the livepatch finishes. The sleep loop waiting for pid_allocated to drop has the same problem and it doesn't even clear anything. So a schedule() in TASK_INTERRUPTIBLE returns immediately. Use a no_notify_signal guard. signal_pending() will ignore TIF_NOTIFY_SIGNAL and the pid namespace reaper sleeps until a child exits or free_pid() wakes it. | ||||
| CVE-2026-119340 | 1 Tesseract-ocr | 1 Tesseract Ocr | 2026-11-05 | 5.5 Medium |
| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. Prior to 5.5.4, GENERIC_2D_ARRAY::DeSerializeSize in src/ccstruct/matrix.h reads matrix dimensions as signed int32_t values and compares them only with UINT16_MAX, allowing negative values to reach ResizeNoInit. Negative dimensions or a 65535 by 65535 product can create inconsistent allocation state and later out-of-bounds accesses while loading a crafted traineddata file, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 5.5.4. | ||||
| CVE-2026-122305 | 1 Kyverno | 1 Kyverno | 2026-11-05 | 7.7 High |
| Kyverno before 1.19.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability in substituteVariablesIfAny that allows low-privileged users to hang the admission webhook via self-referential variable templates. Attackers can create resources whose annotations re-introduce the embedded policy variable, causing unbounded substitution loops that exhaust CPU and memory and block cluster-wide admission. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4111 | 1 Redhat | 13 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Discovery and 10 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives. | ||||
| CVE-2026-120194 | 3 Json-glib, Red Hat, Redhat | 6 Json-glib, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in json-glib. The JSONPath slice evaluator used by json_path_query() can enter an infinite loop when given a slice expression with a negative step. An application that evaluates attacker-controlled JSONPath expressions can be forced into a hang, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
