| CVE-2026-16514 | 1 Zephyrproject | 1 Zephyr | 2026-09-19 | 4.3 Medium |
| gptp_mi_qualify_announce() in subsys/net/l2/ethernet/gptp/gptp_mi.c walks the Path Trace TLV of a received IEEE 802.1AS Announce message, comparing each clock identity against the local one. The loop bound was taken solely from the attacker-controlled wire field announce->steps_removed (accepted up to 254), never from announce->tlv.len, which is the field that states how many identities the TLV actually carries. Because path_sequence is the flexible member of the wire TLV (struct gptp_path_trace_tlv) and GPTP_ANNOUNCE() yields a raw pointer into the received packet buffer, the memcmp() inside the loop can address memory well past the end of the received frame. The stack's only length validation, GPTP_ANNOUNCE_CHECK_LEN(), requires the received gPTP payload to be exactly 68 + tlv.len bytes — so it does not constrain the loop, it guarantees the data is absent. An unauthenticated attacker on the same Ethernet segment can send a single Announce frame declaring tlv.len = 0 with steps_removed = 254; the frame passes the length check and reception path (net_gptp_recv() → gptp_handle_msg() → gptp_mi_qualify_announce()), which performs no authentication, and the loop then reads 255 entries of 8 bytes each — about 2 KB — beyond the end of the network buffer. The impact is an out-of-bounds read. The bytes read are only used as a memcmp() operand and are never returned to the attacker, so there is no meaningful information disclosure; the practical risk is that the overread crosses a network buffer pool boundary into unmapped or MPU-protected memory and faults the networking RX thread, causing a denial of service. Exposure is limited to builds that enable the opt-in, experimental CONFIG_NET_GPTP (TSN/AVB deployments) and to attackers with layer-2 adjacency, since gPTP frames are sent to a link-local multicast address and are not routed. The fix computes the true entry count as tlv.len / GPTP_CLOCK_ID_LEN and rejects the announce when steps_removed + 1 exceeds it, so the loop can no longer run past the data the packet-length check proved present. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59181 | 1 Academysoftwarefoundation | 1 Openimageio | 2026-09-18 | 6.1 Medium |
| OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1, A crafted cineon file can supply a numberofelements value greater than the format maximum of eight. cineoninput::open() uses that unchecked value as the loop bound while filling the fixed strings[8] array, writing pointers beyond the stack buffer and into adjacent state, resulting in memory corruption and denial of service. The affected implementation is identified by src/cineon.imageio/cineoninput.cpp, CineonInput::open(), numberOfElements, and strings[8], which define the relevant source path, functions, state, and trigger. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.20.0, 3.1.15.0, and 3.2.0.3-beta1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73863 | 1 Nanomq | 1 Nanomq | 2026-09-18 | N/A |
| NanoMQ is an MQTT broker. Prior to 0.24.14, NanoMQ's broker-side MQTT v5 nmq_subinfo_decode() function in nng/src/sp/protocol/mqtt/mqtt_parser.c reuses len_of_varint from the outer Properties Length while parsing each SUBSCRIPTION_IDENTIFIER. A remote client can send a SUBSCRIBE packet with a multi-byte Properties Length and repeated subscription identifiers, causing get_var_integer() to begin at an incorrect offset and read beyond the heap message buffer. The flaw is reachable through the broker receive path and can crash the broker, while the separately reported topic-option off-by-one occurs later and is not this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 0.24.14. | ||||
| CVE-2026-48977 | 1 Openslide | 1 Openslide | 2026-09-18 | N/A |
| OpenSlide is a C library for reading whole slide image files. From 3.4.1 until 4.0.1, OpenSlide's parse_level0_xml() processing in src/openslide-vendor-ventana.c accepts nonpositive row or column tile counts from a crafted Ventana BIF file. The invalid counts produce attacker-controlled relative memory offsets and allow arbitrary values to be written at those offsets, affecting all supported platforms and configurations and resulting in a crash or potential arbitrary code execution. This issue is fixed in version 4.0.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81176 | 1 Svelte | 1 Devalue | 2026-09-18 | 5.3 Medium |
| Svelte devalue is a JavaScript library that serializes values into strings when JSON.stringify isn't sufficient for the job. Prior to 5.9.2, devalue.parse does not reject out-of-bounds indices that are greater than or equal to values.length in src/parse.js. A specially crafted untrusted payload can make the parser alternate between array representations, producing quadratic work as the payload grows and causing denial of service in applications that parse untrusted devalue data. This issue is fixed in version 5.9.2. | ||||

| CVE-2026-54627 | 1 Happyseafox | 1 Sail | 2026-09-18 | 9.8 Critical |
| SAIL is a cross-platform library for loading and saving images with support for animation, metadata, and ICC profiles. In 0.9.10 and earlier, psd_private_sail_pixel_format() in src/sail-codecs/psd/helpers.c resolves a one-channel PSD in Bitmap color mode to SAIL_PIXEL_FORMAT_BPP1_INDEXED without requiring the file depth to be one, so the pixel buffer uses one-bit rows while sail_codec_load_frame_v8_psd() in src/sail-codecs/psd/psd.c accepts depth == 8 and writes one attacker-controlled byte per pixel. Loading a crafted PSD through sail_load_from_file() or sail_load_from_memory() therefore writes beyond each heap row, causing memory corruption, a reliable crash, or potential code execution. This mode/depth mismatch is distinct from GHSA-rcqx-gc76-r9mv and GHSA-wcj8-hxxf-pq2c. This issue is fixed in version 1.0.0. | ||||

| CVE-2026-52836 | 1 Opendds | 1 Opendds | 2026-09-18 | N/A |
| OpenDDS is an open source C++ implementation of the Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution Service (DDS). Prior to 3.34.0, a network attacker can crash a reachable OpenDDS participant by sending a malformed RTPS UDP submessage whose crafted length or sequence-number state causes dds/DCPS/transport/rtps_udp/RtpsUdpReceiveStrategy.cpp in RtpsUdpReceiveStrategy::handle_input() to advance ACE_Message_Block::rd_ptr() beyond valid data. The parser can then call dds/DCPS/transport/rtps_udp/RtpsSampleHeader.cpp in RtpsSampleHeader::init(), which dereferences the invalid read pointer without first validating it against wr_ptr() or ensuring that a complete submessage header remains. The resulting SIGSEGV occurs in the receive thread, terminates the DDS process, and destroys the DDS entities hosted by that participant. No authentication, prior protocol state, or victim interaction is required. This issue is fixed in version 3.34.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-50291 | 1 Academysoftwarefoundation | 1 Openimageio | 2026-09-18 | 5.5 Medium |
| OpenImageIO is a toolset for reading, writing, and manipulating image files of any image file format relevant to VFX / animation. Prior to versions 3.0.16.0 and 3.1.11.0, processing a crafted BMP file through oiiotool or an application linked to OpenImageIO can reach BMP palette handling in src/bmp.imageio/bmpinput.cpp with an empty color table. BmpInput::read_native_scanline then performs an invalid palette read while decoding an RLE-compressed scanline, causing a process crash and denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 3.0.16.0 and 3.1.11.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93331 | 1 Gpac | 1 Gpac | 2026-09-18 | 7.3 High |
| A vulnerability was identified in GPAC 26.08-DEV. This vulnerability affects the function gf_rtp_parse_ttxt of the file src/ietf/rtp_depacketizer.c of the component RTP Depacketizer. Such manipulation of the argument size leads to out-of-bounds read. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Upgrading to version abi-16.26 is able to resolve this issue. The name of the patch is 6bb0f64b4d1039c0fecd14ee2c1ee861d8661a68. The affected component should be upgraded. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92958 | 1 Patriksimek | 1 Vm2 | 2026-09-18 | 8.5 High |
| vm2 through 3.11.6 contains a builtin-module denylist bypass in NodeVM. When the embedder uses the builtin wildcard together with negative entries (e.g. require: { builtin: ['*', '-fs', '-child_process'] }), negative entries are matched by exact module name in lib/builtin.js, so -fs removes only the builtin named fs and does not remove builtin subpaths such as fs/promises. Sandboxed code can therefore call require('fs/promises') or require('node:fs/promises') and reach the promise-based filesystem API despite fs being denied; node: prefix handling is likewise inconsistent (a -node:fs/promises entry does not block require('fs/promises')). Host file creation and writing were confirmed via fsp.writeFile(), and other fs/promises operations (cp, mkdir, rename, rm, rmdir, truncate, read operations, etc.) are also reachable. This issue is fixed in vm2 3.11.7. | ||||
