| CVE-2026-88847 | 2026-09-24 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| The MasterStudy LMS WordPress Plugin WordPress plugin before 3.7.50 does not verify that a user is enrolled in a course before recording lesson completions against it, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to create course progress records for courses they have no access to. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84151 | 2026-09-24 | 3.5 Low | ||
| The Post Grid WordPress plugin before 7.9.5 does not limit an expansion of the WordPress allowed-HTML list to its own markup and applies it site-wide, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to store iframe, style and input elements that are normally stripped from their content, leading to HTML injection (phishing frames, CSS defacement and spoofed input forms) that renders to any visitor and to administrators reviewing the content. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82849 | 2026-09-24 | 4.3 Medium | ||
| The Masteriyo LMS WordPress plugin before 3.4.2 does not verify that the user making the request owns the course-progress records being returned, allowing any authenticated user, such as a self-registered subscriber, to read another user's learning activity. The ownership check it applies is skipped whenever the requested account is not named with a non-zero value, in which case the records of every learner on the site are returned at once. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80513 | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High | ||
| The wpForo Forum WordPress plugin before 3.1.6 does not restrict which classes may be instantiated when it deserializes a user-supplied profile field value, allowing authenticated users with Subscriber-level access and above to inject a PHP Object. No POP chain is present in the wpForo Forum WordPress plugin before 3.1.6 itself; if one is present via another installed wpForo Forum WordPress plugin before 3.1.6 or , this could lead to remote code execution, arbitrary file operations, or SQL injection. This is an incomplete fix of CVE-2026-49769. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80338 | 2 Cmb2, Wordpress | 2 Cmb2, Wordpress | 2026-09-24 | 6.8 Medium |
| The CMB2 WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 does not perform any capability check on one of its AJAX actions, allowing users with a role as low as Subscriber to create arbitrary WordPress options and corrupt existing ones, which can break core site settings and take the site offline. Exploitation requires the site's or another CMB2 WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 to have declared an oEmbed field, as the CMB2 WordPress plugin before 2.13.0 registers none of its own. The stored value is never attacker-controlled, so the issue does not lead to privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-14164 | 3 Libarchive, Red Hat, Redhat | 12 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Discovery and 9 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| A double free issue has been identified in libarchive's RAR5 reader. During parsing of a specially crafted RAR5 archive, the filtered_buf pointer may remain stale after being freed during unpacking state reinitialization. Subsequent processing of another archive entry can trigger a second free of the same memory region, resulting in a double-free condition. Successful exploitation may cause applications using the vulnerable libarchive API to terminate unexpectedly, leading to a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-5260 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 14 Gnutls, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 11 more | 2026-09-24 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in libgnutls. A remote attacker, by sending an extremely short premaster secret during an RSA key exchange to a server using an RSA key backed by a PKCS#11 token, could trigger a short heap overread. This memory corruption vulnerability could lead to information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16313 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 7 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.6 High |
| A flaw was found in sg3_utils. The sg_inq command, when invoked with the --export option, outputs device identification data without sanitizing control characters in SCSI name string fields. A newline character embedded in a device-supplied name string can inject arbitrary properties into the udev device database. This could allow an attacker who can present a crafted SCSI device to execute arbitrary commands as root when the device is disconnected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-12227 | 2 Visualcomposer, Wordpress | 2 Visual Composer Website Builder, Wordpress | 2026-09-24 | 9.8 Critical |
| The Visual Composer Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 45.16.0 via the `vcv-template` parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96442 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Emacs, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-24 | 7.8 High |
| A code execution flaw was found in Emacs, affecting versions prior to 31.2. The Flymake mode using language backends other than Lisp would execute arbitrary code from the edited file while performing syntax checking. Viewing or editing untrusted files using Emacs could lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running Emacs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18335 | 2 Themeum, Wordpress | 2 Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer, Wordpress | 2026-09-24 | 5.4 Medium |
| The Kirki – Freeform Page Builder, Website Builder & Customizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Blind Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 6.2.0 via the 'kirki_data' Parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-97179 | 1 O2oa | 1 O2oa | 2026-09-24 | 4.3 Medium |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in O2OA up to 9.5.3/10.0.2. This vulnerability affects the function list of the file o2server/x_base_core_project/src/main/java/com/x/base/core/project/connection/CipherConnectionAction.java of the component Cipher Connection Handler. Such manipulation of the argument fileUrl leads to information disclosure. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15711 | 2 Libsoup, Redhat | 8 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 5 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| A vulnerability was found in libsoup's WebSocket frame parsing implementation. The library fails to validate length rules specified in RFC 6455 §5.5, which mandates that all WebSocket control frames (e.g., PING, PONG, CLOSE) contain a payload of 125 bytes or less. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a non-compliant, oversized control frame. Because the parser handles this protocol violation improperly instead of throwing an immediate connection termination error, it triggers a internal processing crash, resulting in a remote denial of service (DoS) for applications utilizing libsoup WebSockets. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15709 | 2 Libsoup, Redhat | 8 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 5 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libsoup's WebSocket implementation when using the permessage-deflate extension. The extension's decompression loop (inflate()) processes data in chunks without enforcing an upper boundary limit on the output buffer size. While libsoup limits the incoming compressed frame size via max_incoming_payload_size, it fails to track or limit memory allocation during decompression. A separate check for decompressed size (max_total_message_size) exists but executes only after inflation is complete, and it is entirely disabled by default for client connections. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a small, highly compressed payload (a decompression bomb), causing unbounded memory allocation that triggers an Out-of-Memory (OOM) crash and a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-82331 | 1 Apache | 1 Buildstream | 2026-09-24 | 9.8 Critical |
| Improper link resolution before file access ('link following') vulnerability in the `tar` source plugin of Apache BuildStream running on Python < 3.12 allows malicious source tarballs to write files on the host, with the privileges of the user running BuildStream, via symlinks as part of source fetching. The impact of this issue is mitigated by: * BuildStream projects should only use trusted sources in their elements as otherwise the build output can also not be trusted * Tracking a source tarball pins its SHA256 hash, which prevents MITM attacks of users that are fetching an already tracked project * When running on Python >= 3.12, BuildStream >= 2.3.0 already makes use of the Python `tarfile` filter functionality, which blocks the symlink escape Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.8.1, which fixes this issue. | ||||
