In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI/AER: Fix NULL pointer access by aer_info The kzalloc(GFP_KERNEL) may return NULL, so all accesses to aer_info->xxx will result in kernel panic. Fix it.
CVE-2025-68311 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: serial: ip22zilog: Use platform device for probing After commit 84a9582fd203 ("serial: core: Start managing serial controllers to enable runtime PM") serial drivers need to provide a device in struct uart_port.dev otherwise an oops happens. To fix this issue for ip22zilog driver switch driver to a platform driver and setup the serial device in sgi-ip22 code.
CVE-2025-40162 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: amd/sdw_utils: avoid NULL deref when devm_kasprintf() fails devm_kasprintf() may return NULL on memory allocation failure, but the debug message prints cpus->dai_name before checking it. Move the dev_dbg() call after the NULL check to prevent potential NULL pointer dereference.
CVE-2025-68346 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: dice: fix buffer overflow in detect_stream_formats() The function detect_stream_formats() reads the stream_count value directly from a FireWire device without validating it. This can lead to out-of-bounds writes when a malicious device provides a stream_count value greater than MAX_STREAMS. Fix by applying the same validation to both TX and RX stream counts in detect_stream_formats().
CVE-2025-40359 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf/x86/intel: Fix KASAN global-out-of-bounds warning When running "perf mem record" command on CWF, the below KASAN global-out-of-bounds warning is seen. ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in cmt_latency_data+0x176/0x1b0 Read of size 4 at addr ffffffffb721d000 by task dtlb/9850 Call Trace: kasan_report+0xb8/0xf0 cmt_latency_data+0x176/0x1b0 setup_arch_pebs_sample_data+0xf49/0x2560 intel_pmu_drain_arch_pebs+0x577/0xb00 handle_pmi_common+0x6c4/0xc80 The issue is caused by below code in __grt_latency_data(). The code tries to access x86_hybrid_pmu structure which doesn't exist on non-hybrid platform like CWF. WARN_ON_ONCE(hybrid_pmu(event->pmu)->pmu_type == hybrid_big) So add is_hybrid() check before calling this WARN_ON_ONCE to fix the global-out-of-bounds access issue.
CVE-2025-40059 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: Fix incorrect handling for return value of devm_kzalloc The return value of devm_kzalloc could be an null pointer, use "!desc.pdata" to fix incorrect handling return value of devm_kzalloc.
CVE-2025-40228 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: catch commit test ctx alloc failure Patch series "mm/damon/sysfs: fix commit test damon_ctx [de]allocation". DAMON sysfs interface dynamically allocates and uses a damon_ctx object for testing if given inputs for online DAMON parameters update is valid. The object is being used without an allocation failure check, and leaked when the test succeeds. Fix the two bugs. This patch (of 2): The damon_ctx for testing online DAMON parameters commit inputs is used without its allocation failure check. This could result in an invalid memory access. Fix it by directly returning an error when the allocation failed.
CVE-2023-54118 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: sc16is7xx: setup GPIO controller later in probe The GPIO controller component of the sc16is7xx driver is setup too early, which can result in a race condition where another device tries to utilise the GPIO lines before the sc16is7xx device has finished initialising. This issue manifests itself as an Oops when the GPIO lines are configured: Unable to handle kernel read from unreadable memory at virtual address ... pc : sc16is7xx_gpio_direction_output+0x68/0x108 [sc16is7xx] lr : sc16is7xx_gpio_direction_output+0x4c/0x108 [sc16is7xx] ... Call trace: sc16is7xx_gpio_direction_output+0x68/0x108 [sc16is7xx] gpiod_direction_output_raw_commit+0x64/0x318 gpiod_direction_output+0xb0/0x170 create_gpio_led+0xec/0x198 gpio_led_probe+0x16c/0x4f0 platform_drv_probe+0x5c/0xb0 really_probe+0xe8/0x448 driver_probe_device+0xe8/0x138 __device_attach_driver+0x94/0x118 bus_for_each_drv+0x8c/0xe0 __device_attach+0x100/0x1b8 device_initial_probe+0x28/0x38 bus_probe_device+0xa4/0xb0 deferred_probe_work_func+0x90/0xe0 process_one_work+0x1c4/0x480 worker_thread+0x54/0x430 kthread+0x138/0x150 ret_from_fork+0x10/0x1c This patch moves the setup of the GPIO controller functions to later in the probe function, ensuring the sc16is7xx device has already finished initialising by the time other devices try to make use of the GPIO lines. The error handling has also been reordered to reflect the new initialisation order.
CVE-2023-53777 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: kill hooked chains to avoid loops on deduplicated compressed images After heavily stressing EROFS with several images which include a hand-crafted image of repeated patterns for more than 46 days, I found two chains could be linked with each other almost simultaneously and form a loop so that the entire loop won't be submitted. As a consequence, the corresponding file pages will remain locked forever. It can be _only_ observed on data-deduplicated compressed images. For example, consider two chains with five pclusters in total: Chain 1: 2->3->4->5 -- The tail pcluster is 5; Chain 2: 5->1->2 -- The tail pcluster is 2. Chain 2 could link to Chain 1 with pcluster 5; and Chain 1 could link to Chain 2 at the same time with pcluster 2. Since hooked chains are all linked locklessly now, I have no idea how to simply avoid the race. Instead, let's avoid hooked chains completely until I could work out a proper way to fix this and end users finally tell us that it's needed to add it back. Actually, this optimization can be found with multi-threaded workloads (especially even more often on deduplicated compressed images), yet I'm not sure about the overall system impacts of not having this compared with implementation complexity.

CVE-2025-68380 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: fix peer HE MCS assignment In ath11k_wmi_send_peer_assoc_cmd(), peer's transmit MCS is sent to firmware as receive MCS while peer's receive MCS sent as transmit MCS, which goes against firmwire's definition. While connecting to a misbehaved AP that advertises 0xffff (meaning not supported) for 160 MHz transmit MCS map, firmware crashes due to 0xffff is assigned to he_mcs->rx_mcs_set field. Ext Tag: HE Capabilities [...] Supported HE-MCS and NSS Set [...] Rx and Tx MCS Maps 160 MHz [...] Tx HE-MCS Map 160 MHz: 0xffff Swap the assignment to fix this issue. As the HE rate control mask is meant to limit our own transmit MCS, it needs to go via he_mcs->rx_mcs_set field. With the aforementioned swapping done, change is needed as well to apply it to the peer's receive MCS. CVE-2025-68292 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/memfd: fix information leak in hugetlb folios When allocating hugetlb folios for memfd, three initialization steps are missing: 1. Folios are not zeroed, leading to kernel memory disclosure to userspace 2. Folios are not marked uptodate before adding to page cache 3. hugetlb_fault_mutex is not taken before hugetlb_add_to_page_cache() The memfd allocation path bypasses the normal page fault handler (hugetlb_no_page) which would handle all of these initialization steps. This is problematic especially for udmabuf use cases where folios are pinned and directly accessed by userspace via DMA. Fix by matching the initialization pattern used in hugetlb_no_page(): - Zero the folio using folio_zero_user() which is optimized for huge pages - Mark it uptodate with folio_mark_uptodate() - Take hugetlb_fault_mutex before adding to page cache to prevent races The folio_zero_user() change also fixes a potential security issue where uninitialized kernel memory could be disclosed to userspace through read() or mmap() operations on the memfd.
CVE-2025-40229 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/core: fix potential memory leak by cleaning ops_filter in damon_destroy_scheme Currently, damon_destroy_scheme() only cleans up the filter list but leaves ops_filter untouched, which could lead to memory leaks when a scheme is destroyed. This patch ensures both filter and ops_filter are properly freed in damon_destroy_scheme(), preventing potential memory leaks.

CVE-2025-40227 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/sysfs: dealloc commit test ctx always The damon_ctx for testing online DAMON parameters commit inputs is deallocated only when the test fails. This means memory is leaked for every successful online DAMON parameters commit. Fix the leak by always deallocating it.
CVE-2023-54232 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: m68k: Only force 030 bus error if PC not in exception table __get_kernel_nofault() does copy data in supervisor mode when forcing a task backtrace log through /proc/sysrq_trigger. This is expected cause a bus error exception on e.g. NULL pointer dereferencing when logging a kernel task has no workqueue associated. This bus error ought to be ignored. Our 030 bus error handler is ill equipped to deal with this: Whenever ssw indicates a kernel mode access on a data fault, we don't even attempt to handle the fault and instead always send a SEGV signal (or panic). As a result, the check for exception handling at the fault PC (buried in send_sig_fault() which gets called from do_page_fault() eventually) is never used. In contrast, both 040 and 060 access error handlers do not care whether a fault happened on supervisor mode access, and will call do_page_fault() on those, ultimately honoring the exception table. Add a check in bus_error030 to call do_page_fault() in case we do have an entry for the fault PC in our exception table. I had attempted a fix for this earlier in 2019 that did rely on testing pagefault_disabled() (see link below) to achieve the same thing, but this patch should be more generic. Tested on 030 Atari Falcon.
CVE-2025-40238 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5: Fix IPsec cleanup over MPV device When we do mlx5e_detach_netdev() we eventually disable blocking events notifier, among those events are IPsec MPV events from IB to core. So before disabling those blocking events, make sure to also unregister the devcom device and mark all this device operations as complete, in order to prevent the other device from using invalid netdev during future devcom events which could cause the trace below. CVE-2025-68186 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Do not warn in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() when reader catches up The function ring_buffer_map_get_reader() is a bit more strict than the other get reader functions, and except for certain situations the rb_get_reader_page() should not return NULL. If it does, it triggers a warning. This warning was triggering but after looking at why, it was because another acceptable situation was happening and it wasn't checked for. If the reader catches up to the writer and there's still data to be read on the reader page, then the rb_get_reader_page() will return NULL as there's no new page to get. In this situation, the reader page should not be updated and no warning should trigger.
