| CVE-2026-123660 | 2026-11-06 | N/A | ||
| In Vulnerability-Lookup 5.5.1 up to but not including 6.4.1, a signed-in user could make the server allocate memory far out of proportion to their input through a webhook notification's payload template. Each placeholder's format specifier was passed unchanged to Python's string formatting, which builds the padded result before its size can be checked. A template of a few dozen bytes, such as {"text": "{title:>999999999}"}, therefore produced a string of about 1 GB when the notification form test-rendered it on save, and repeating such fields multiplied the cost. Templates that passed the save check could also repeat placeholders such as {text} thousands of times; the notification daemon rebuilt those on every webhook delivery. Deeply nested templates raised an unhandled recursion error (HTTP 500). An attacker needs only an account, which the default configuration lets anyone create after e-mail confirmation. They could exhaust the memory of web workers or the notification daemon, causing a denial of service. Version 6.4.1 caps every number in a format specifier at 256, limits a rendered template to 1,000,000 characters both on save and at delivery, and rejects templates nested deeper than 32 levels. | ||||
| CVE-2026-121994 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-11-06 | 8.8 High |
| A stack buffer overflow in the GDB client's remote protocol handler allows an attacker-controlled debug target to execute arbitrary code in the GDB process. The vulnerability exists in fetch_register_using_p, which decodes a stub's register reply into an alloca-sized buffer without bounding writes by the register width. | ||||
| CVE-2026-1484 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Ai, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 4.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GLib Base64 encoding routine when processing very large input data. Due to incorrect use of integer types during length calculation, the library may miscalculate buffer boundaries. This can cause memory writes outside the allocated buffer. Applications that process untrusted or extremely large Base64 input using GLib may crash or behave unpredictably. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9150 | 3 Opensuse, Red Hat, Redhat | 13 Libsolv, Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in libsolv's Debian metadata parser when processing specially crafted Debian repository metadata. An attacker could exploit this by providing malicious SHA384 or SHA512 checksum tags, leading to memory corruption and a denial of service (DoS) in the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92824 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 4 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libmodulemd. In the module stream v2 rpm-map emission path, an inner loop incorrectly uses the count of digest algorithms as its bound instead of the number of checksums in the current digest table. Crafted modulemd v2 metadata with multiple digest types can trigger an out-of-bounds read during YAML serialization, typically causing a crash and resulting in a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-82327 | 1 Redhat | 10 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 7 more | 2026-11-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsolv, a dependency-resolution library used by RPM-based package managers such as dnf and zypper to work with .solv repository cache files. When libsolv rewrites a .solv cache file, it reads directory-id values from the file's compressed filelist data without validating that they fall within the expected range. A corrupted or specially crafted .solv cache file (for example, one left in a torn state after an unclean system shutdown) can cause an out-of-bounds memory write when a tool such as dnf, yum, or zypper next processes it. Successful exploitation is expected to result in a crash of the affected tool (denial of service); it is not expected to allow arbitrary code execution because the out-of-bounds write always stores a fixed, non-attacker-controlled value. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58013 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in g_io_channel_read_line_backend() in the giochannel.c file when a custom line terminator with a length greater than one is set, causing memcmp to read past the GString buffer. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 7 bytes or a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58012 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. A buffer over-read can occur in the g_regex_replace function when used with the `G_REGEX_RAW` compile flag and case-change replacement escapes because the string_append function processes matched substrings using UTF-8 functions that assume valid UTF-8 input, even when the string is treated as raw bytes. This vulnerability can cause a minor information disclosure of 1-5 bytes and a denial of service when the buffer over-read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58011 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An out-of-bounds read of only 2 bytes can occur in the g_date_time_get_ymd function in the glib/gdatetime.c file when an invalid GDateTime object produced by the g_date_time_add_full function is processed. This flaw can corrupt the date output and potentially cause logic errors that may lead to a denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58010 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 17 Glib, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 14 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GLib. An off-by-one error can occur in the gvs_tuple_is_normal function in the glib/gvariant-serialiser.c file when doing an alignment padding check because the bounds check uses > instead of >=, causing an out-of-bounds read of only 1 byte. This issue can cause a minor information disclosure of 1 byte and a denial of service when the out-of-bounds read crosses a page boundary. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16118 | 1 Redhat | 11 Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager, Cost Management On Premise and 8 more | 2026-11-06 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in xdgmime. A heap-based buffer overflow can be triggered in _xdg_mime_magic_parse_magic_line() in the xdgmimemagic.c file on little-endian systems when an attacker-controlled MIME magic file in a user-writable XDG data location (e.g., in the $XDG_DATA_HOME/mime/magic path) is parsed by an application performing MIME type detection (e.g., via g_content_type_guess()). When performing byte-swap, incorrect pointer arithmetic on the write side causes an out-of-bounds write of 2 bytes, resulting in an application crash or memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9149 | 3 Opensuse, Red Hat, Redhat | 14 Libsolv, Red Hat Satellite 6, Enterprise Linux and 11 more | 2026-11-06 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability occurs when a victim processes a specially crafted `.solv` file containing negative size values in the `repo_add_solv` function. This leads to an undersized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds write. An attacker could exploit this to cause a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-107161 | 2 Cyrusimap, Redhat | 8 Cyrus-sasl, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 5 more | 2026-11-06 | 7.5 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in Cyrus SASL. The add_to_challenge() function in the DIGEST-MD5 plugin computes the size of the buffer needed for a challenge/response field before DIGEST-MD5 quoting is applied, but does not recompute that size when quoting (escaping special characters) makes the value longer. The under-sized buffer is then passed to strcat(), causing a heap-based out-of-bounds write whose size depends on attacker-controlled input. A malicious or on-path DIGEST-MD5 (or HTTP Digest) server can trigger this flaw in a connecting client by supplying a crafted challenge field, such as realm or nonce, most likely resulting in a crash of the client application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103242 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift Ai and 1 more | 2026-11-06 | 7.1 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in rpm. RPMTAG_FILESIGNATURES in a crafted, unsigned RPM package's main header is declared with the wrong header type, causing hex2binv() to allocate a one-byte buffer and then write the tag's attacker-controlled, hex-decoded content — of attacker-chosen length — past the end of that allocation. This is reachable via rpm2cpio, rpm2archive, and rpm -qlvp on an untrusted package. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15028 | 1 Redhat | 6 Cost Management On Premise, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 3 more | 2026-11-06 | 3.9 Low |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to trigger a heap overflow by providing a specially crafted tar archive. The issue occurs during the parsing of a PAX extended header containing a malformed SUN.holesdata sparse-file attribute. Successful exploitation could lead to a denial of service, making the system unavailable, or potentially allow for arbitrary code execution, giving the attacker control over the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15003 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 8 Binutils, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 5 more | 2026-11-06 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GNU Binutils (Binary Utilities) linker. This vulnerability, a heap-buffer-overflow read (CWE-125), occurs when the linker processes a specially crafted 32-bit XCOFF (Extended Common Object File Format) object file. An attacker could exploit this by providing a malicious file, leading to an out-of-bounds read of memory. This can result in information disclosure, potentially revealing sensitive heap data, and a Denial of Service (DoS) due to the linker crashing. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5278 | 1 Redhat | 10 Cert Manager, Cost Management, Discovery and 7 more | 2026-11-06 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GNU Coreutils. The sort utility's begfield() function is vulnerable to a heap buffer under-read. The program may access memory outside the allocated buffer if a user runs a crafted command using the traditional key format. A malicious input could lead to a crash or leak sensitive data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73471 | 2026-11-06 | 6.1 Medium | ||
| A flaw was found in GStreamer gst-plugins-good (avidemux). In the Nikon metadata tag parser, a pointer can be dereferenced without verifying that data remains in the buffer, causing out-of-bounds reads. Because avidemux is auto-plugged by playbin, decodebin, and gst-discoverer, opening or previewing a crafted AVI is sufficient to trigger the issue. Fixed upstream in gst-plugins-good 1.28.6 (GStreamer-SA-2026-0072). | ||||
| CVE-2026-96545 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 3 Gimp, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 4.4 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds heap read flaw was found in GIMP's TIM image loader. When a user opens a crafted 4bpp TIM image that causes promotion to an RGBA layer, the file-tim plug-in allocates an undersized row buffer but processes it using the larger RGBA row size. This can copy adjacent heap contents into the decoded image and may crash the plug-in. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94184 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2026-11-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in fetchmail when built with NTLM support. A malicious or compromised mail server advertising NTLM authentication can send a crafted Type 2 challenge that causes fetchmail to write past a fixed stack buffer while building the NTLM authenticate response. This may lead to remote code execution depending on stack-frame layout, or to authentication failure or process termination under memory hardening. | ||||
